Lift with my boy alternating week schedule, Friday night on one week, then Tuesday and Thursday the next after he does Jiu Jitsu…

He’s been making serious progress for a while, finally allowing himself to see it…

Trying to chase my GF up the hills of Chapel Hill bring one of your ride reports to mind… If you can do mountain trails after squatting. I should be able to not fall over dead on these hills.

Bad news medical front. Nothing lethal, just gotta find helpful doctor. cortisol 1/3 lowest in range. No surprise with my origins…

Squat - big news here is “I can’t add” well at least 8’s and 5’s all previous 325 squats were really 335. F!

Daughter has like 300-400 miles on a trailer cycle (one where she could pedal). She’s my “Monster Girl”…
Doc says I need more cardio… I put about 300 miles on bike a year… Doubt Cardio bunnies get that on the stationary… Oh, well…

I always liked biking, but haven’t done it in years. I am afraid that, at my advanced age, I might throw a hip out trying to mount it.

Dude, give it a go… set the seat low, torture your lower quads for a while, slowly (like 1/4 inch at a time) raise the seat… It is the only cardio I can tolerate…

Also there’s the trick about stepping on the closest pedal while swinging leg over… Like mounting a horse, or passenger on a motorcycle…

TIME CRUNCH… Experiment 3x10’s little rest… try to use about the weight of 5x5
In and out 33 minutes, showered… Arms, back and lats fried…

I get some of my best (hardest) workouts when I’m short on time. But a workout and a shower in 33 minutes is really moving. Unless you’re bald and can shower, dry off and be dressed in 5 minutes (like me).
