I’d think so. You were running through my mind all week!

Hey Lula really nice job on the 275 dead and 180x5 squat. Impressive!

Thats some legit squattin yo

But I still felt like a freak show and wasn’t in the mood to be one today.
I understand. There is no choice, though. Head up, tits out and go do what must be done!

LULA!!! You’re magnificant!!! So powerful! I’m inspired always by you, drama and emo stuff included

That sums it up  OH and **** here’s some vibes***

I have some vibes to spare as well ********************

Sorry, you’ve been feeling blue. I don’t know where you are, but maybe going outside and playing in the sun/snow might help a bit. I always feel more whole after playing outside.

This actually made me giggle, lol.

post meet blues - a lot of us get those. I suggest deload with plenty of good food and stay away from the gym for a few days. let yourself miss it.

freakin nice on the deadlift pr and squats.

Lula: I wanted to let you know that Ella and I are now sharing a journal. I suggested the idea to her last week and gave her a pretty leather journal…she looked at me sideways…but took it. This morning, she left it on my nightstand with her first entry. I wish it was all sunshine and roses. Why is growing up so hard? But, I think this will really help her and us. Thank you so much for the idea!

And where the fuck are you anyway?

Git, Up, Matty G1: I realized I did 190x10 back in November, so I feel much less ok about the 180x5. Maybe I’ve not been pushing the squats as hard as I should be and that’s why they’ve stalled?! Regardless, thanks for the love!

How much would this cost? My calculations show this would be $41.67/wk.
Would you wear said leggings for the duration of the diet?
Will there be videos of your training? They’ve been lacking.
Are there a lot of women in the gym training when you go?
What about co-sponsors?
So many questions…
-You’re the numbers man, I’ll trust your 41.67/wk. Which actually sounds reasonable if I could stop going to Lululemon and buying stupidly overpriced coffee.
-Spandex makes up 90% of my wardrobe, so I think leggings for the duration could be done.
-You’re right, they’ve been slacking and I will rectify that soon. So yes to videos, but I won’t be getting out of hand here. I’m not looking for this to be the ‘gateway’ activity into selling my used underwear on ebay.
-Actually, I’ve started training once or twice a week with two other female PLers, both of which are smoking hot. Also, if I time it right there is no shortage of skanky college freshman prepping for spring break at the school gym.
-Cosponsors: I won’t turn it down, but keep in mind that I only have one ass two cheeks…which will be shrinking throughout the duration of the diet (but still bubbletastic, have no fear matty). I want you to get your money’s worth, is all I’m saying.

There were so many directions you could have gone with this! Nice choice. Now I think how this works is you’re supposed to buy me a drink and ask me how it feels to be the prettiest girl in the room?

Oh do I love this! This is the kind of statement that deserves to be crocheted into a pillow.

OMG! This is so great, thank you  I think you’ve got it wrong though, you’re the one who inspires me! I’m doing a little front squat dance for you and sending some vibes right back >>>vibevibevibevibe<<<<

And you too MIM! Happy thyroid dance and >>>vibevibevibevibe<<<<

This is an excellent idea. I usually cross country ski to my heart’s content every winter, but we’ve had like, 4 inches of snow total this year, which has gotten washed away by rain, so I haven’t been out as much. I should make a point to go out for walks or something though, good suggestion.

Glad the scapula advice helped too! I was at a conference this weekend and heard a lecture all about scapular stability and thought of you. If you need any more ideas, i’ve got em!

Thanks lady. I feel that I had that forever long de-load beforehand that I was ready to get back to it. I think the rest of life kind of snuck up on me. Must.keep.trucking!

Oh I am so glad that your’e giving it a shot! Growing up sucks, it does. But having a mom who can simply listen will be so invaluable for her. Plus this angst now will create a super cool personality and give her character when she’s older. Honestly, who wants to peak in middle or high school? Stay strong, I know it must be just killing you to see her struggle.

And me? I’ve been stupid sick. And also out of town. Probably my least favorite combination of activities.

I got in a solid bench day a few days back, then have pretty much been down with strep since. I’m feeling fat, soft, and high on mega doses of zinc. Finally got some antibiotic so I’m hoping to be back strong by Monday. I have zero patience for being sick, but then–who does?

Hope the rest of you are out there staying healthy and getting up to some weekend shenanigans. xo

Sorry to hear about the strep missy. Get yourself healthy. I feel you on the snow issue… Though, the puppy gets me out and about. That might be the trick for you. hehe

Koubs-thanks man. I never get sick so this kind of came out of left field. plus strep? i thought only middle schoolers and younger were allowed to get that. The puppy will have to wait until I get a maternal bone in my body. Til then I get my fix with my parent’s pup.

I found this and thought it was interesting…and it also strengthens my deep deep love for all things mustard.

Mustard=steroids!

Fuck me too, Ive been zincing it up like crazy…hang in there yo. Im going to have some whiskey tonight I heard it really helps get the sick out

That crud has been going around. Get better!

The meet probably weakened your immune system and made you susceptible to stuff you don’t usually get. I had a nasty bought of uti last time.

Aww feel better ASAP, mmkayy??

I totally knew that aboout mustard too!! I eat it every day, ha-ha.

Since nogo on the puppy, would these make you feel better?

I am very sympathetic. I hate being sick just as much as you do. Coming up on three weeks and getting ready to kill someone or myself. Eat up on antibiotics and I hope that tomorrow you are all better!

Matty: Mary clearly meant whiskey, not sugar. Disney was probably a douche and put the kabosh on the original (see:better) lyrics.

MIM: Yes it has! You all should probably sanitize your keyboards JUST TO BE SAFE. You never know.

Main: Ugh, the fun never ends, does it!

Spock: Since you say so, mkay! And of course you know that, you little smarty. I love how our bodies crave food it needs. Lately I’ve been craving mushrooms (ick?) and looked it up…they are chock full of vitamin D! Makes sense.

Kouba: Ha! Awesome, is this what happens in Montana? I’m such a country girl at heart, I want the barbecue boys to be my friends.

Kimba: Man, 3 weeks is a forever long time to be sick!! I’ll include a healthy lung dance for you and send healthy vibes your way. Spring…It will get here eventually. I am sure of it!

Optimistic to get training in tomorrow. I’m also optimistic that I’ll be able to swallow, stupid throat (leaving that open for you SCJ).

I’m having a hard time figuring out my weekly schedule…here’s the best I can come up with. I don’t really like the idea of hitting big lifts 4 days in a row, because I feel that one lift will inevitably get the shaft…but right now those Saturday training sessions are kind of taking precedence, so idunno. Advice welcome:

Mon: OH pressing, light condo
Tue: Squats/Deads, heavy condo
Wed: Bench, light condo
Thurs:Squats/Deads, heavy condo
Friday: off
Saturday: Training with a group (total body destruction plus strongman lifts)
Sunday: light condo
