what type of music do u like to train to? For things like boxing or fact paced stuff i like punk music or drum and bass but for weights training i like rock or metal
I enjoy Sevendust a lot during my lifting workouts, but whenever I do circuits/intervals this is my song of choice - - YouTube
John Butler Trio - Take.
^amazing instrumental on that song
not somethin id listen to while training but im liking the song
i listen to system of a down or icp…those keep me entertained and pumped up
Hed PE is definitely something I enjoy listening to. I’d have to run through my iTunes and the likes to find more though.
You want good workout music? Try metal, not that pansy ass “alternative metal” that they play on Billboard Radio stations. Try stepping out of the mainstream and ditch the Nickelback, System of a Down, Disturbed, Godsmack and Rob Zombie shit they’ve been feeding you for years.
Here are some bands that will make you want to punch an old lady in the face, deadlift 405, squat 400, and bench 405 as you listen to them:
As I Lay Dying
Dimmu Borgir
Nile
Amon Amarth
Wolves In The Throne Room
Goatwhore
Anterior
The Black Dahlia Murder
That’s a good start
Death Metal
Trance
and anything else that sounds good.
I enjoy some classic ACDC. I use to listen to it when I use to box… whether that be running, bag work, sparring. And now I love it in the weight room. Maybe it’s just fundamentally good… part of me thinks that because of how often I’ve used it for physical activity, these songs just prime me for the workout ahead.
I like Muse, Green Day, Brand New for lifting.
god forbid for the lift
incubus for the cool down

I’d recommend getting the damn Dimmu Borgir disography. Everything from In Sorte Diaboli back to Enthrone Triumphant Darkness.
Here’s their best live performances:
@Cheeta: Yes, I do know that Dimmu-Borgir is in Iceland. They’re an amazing band, truly unique in their sound and approach.
