hi, i just wanted to get some ideas of some of your favorite music to workout to. I currently listen to Three Days Grace, and find that it really helps me get Physced. i was wondering what some of your favorite songs/bands are to workout to. also, if anyone knows a band that has a similiar sound to Three Days Grace could you please share.

I don’t mean to disrespect your musical taste, but Three Days Grace is one of the worse bands I have heard in a long time. Their singer sounds like a mutilated dog.
To answer your question, I found that Hinder and The Ataris sound the same as TDG. I really can’t decipher who is on when those bands are on and I am a musician.
The music in the gym on Ronnie Coleman’s dvd’s is my kind of workout music…ie hip hip. Dance music can be good too. Its gotta be lively and fire me up.
Sadly, too many commercial gyms play shitty 60’s and 70’s cheesy bullshit to appeal to their average, not really interested in training, but feel like they should be at the gym clientel.
Gotta go with a mix of rock and techno. Personal favs are Skillet, Chevelle, Day of Fire, Evanescence, Saliva, The Crystal Method, and The Chemical Brothers. . . among others. Oh yeah, and Juno Reactor.
Just recently added “Ladies and Gentlemen” to my iPod. Nice.
