I don’t mean to disrespect your musical taste, but Three Days Grace is one of the worse bands I have heard in a long time. Their singer sounds like a mutilated dog.

To answer your question, I found that Hinder and The Ataris sound the same as TDG. I really can’t decipher who is on when those bands are on and I am a musician.

Nothing can get the rage flowing to pound the Iron like Pat Boone or maybe the Carpenters.

Personally i like MOP, smif n wessun, smooth da hustler, nine, mobb deep, all that good grimy mid nineties hip hop. Makes you want to kill someone

The music in the gym on Ronnie Coleman’s dvd’s is my kind of workout music…ie hip hip. Dance music can be good too. Its gotta be lively and fire me up.

Sadly, too many commercial gyms play shitty 60’s and 70’s cheesy bullshit to appeal to their average, not really interested in training, but feel like they should be at the gym clientel.

You should definitely try out Rise Against, Chevelle, Breaking Benjamin, Papa Roach…

30 Seconds To Mars, Stone Sour, Shinedown and The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus are some good ones too…

This might be weird, but I can’t stand listening to music when I’m working out. It’s just too distracting .

My favorites plus Pantera.

What’s in my MP3 player right now:

White Zombie-Astro Creep

Rob Zombie-Hellbilly Deluxe

Pantera-Vulgar Display of Power, Cowboys From Hell, Reinventing the Steel.

Metallica-Black Album (need to put Master of Puppets on there soon)

Slayer-Reign in Blood, South of Heaven.

Black Label Society-can’t remember the name of the album right now.

T.I.-Urban Legend, which I just can’t listen to when I’m working out. I have reverted abck to the metal I used to listen to exclusively when I lift.

p.s. As I look back at the names of the albums and songs I realize why my mom thought I was listening to devil music.ahahahaha

Gotta go with a mix of rock and techno. Personal favs are Skillet, Chevelle, Day of Fire, Evanescence, Saliva, The Crystal Method, and The Chemical Brothers. . . among others. Oh yeah, and Juno Reactor.

Just recently added “Ladies and Gentlemen” to my iPod. Nice.
