Anyone watching Spike TV? UFC All Access is on with Sean Sherk. His traning is pretty cool. Im sure he walkaround at 165-170 but even at 155 he looks big.
I wonder if we will ever see him fight Razor Rob, would be a good fight.

I didn’t catch the show, but a few months back, when Sherk was featured in Flex magazine, we had a thread all about it.

I also wrote up “his” training routine there, as they listed it in the mag. They said he was walking around at 180. I really like the All Access show in general, there’s usually some interesting stuff on there.

I remember the Flex magazine article…he definitely wasn’t training that way on the TV show. A lot of circuits that used a bunch of different stuff like sledgehammers, tires, ropes, med. balls. Looked like some cool stuff.
damn i missed this! I really like watching this, when was it on?/do you know when it’ll be on again? I’m checking youtube to see if it’s there! lol
Your title lead me to expect muscles and sharks. Like sharks using resistance training. Or pirates using sharks as weights. I was disappointed. So fuck this thread.
On the other hand, Sean Sherk is pretty bad ass.
'Specially on Springer.
Man, Sherk is such a little tank. What a powerhouse.
Man I just finished watching the UFC: All Access episode with Sean Sherk and I was blown away. For those that don’t know, he’s the UFC lightweight champion (he’s phenomenal, only two losses, both to former champs). What impressed me so much was his training routine, his work ethic and his determination. I know Biotest sponsors Georges St. Pierre, but I think Sean Sherk is way more marketable. He’s a down to earth, friendly, likable guy. On top of that his whole lifestyle fits the T-Nation ideology.
He has a weightlifting background (he was even featured in Flex, I know, shitty mag but still), eats extremely clean (5-6 meals, all organic, heavy protein, he would make JB proud) and he trains like a beast. His MMA training routine looks like something Chad Waterbury would create; it focuses on explosive strength, endurance, and functionality (I’m talking for MMA none of that Bosu ball bullshit).
During all of his training he’s intense, like snap your neck if you talk to me intense. He’s completely dedicated to his profession and its impressive.
He has an upcoming fight this Saturday against Hermes Franca (should be fight of the night). Right now he’s not a UFC star, so I think its a really good opportunity for Biotest to snag him now. What do you guys think?

I just scrolled through to find it for my DVR, looks like it will be on from 9:00pm - 9:30PM on Thursday 7/05
UFC 73 STACKED looks like the best card in along time, I hope Sherk can retain the belt.
Sherk does “dinosaur” training, 'cept i think they called it caveman training last night. Funny because cavemen didnt have hammers & tyres but anyway, dinosaur training is pretty much part of most strength routines for combat athletes these days…
Link to the video…the guy is a freak

Sorry Puss, i overlooked the fact dinosaurs didnt lift at all. i stated it so anyone interested could go google it. You’ll find more on dinosaur training than you will renegade or caveman training etc…

No problem, I know I enjoyed watching it and I imagined some of the “T-Men” would enjoy seeing it as well
I say the episode of All Access last night. I must say, they did a great job with this episode.
Almost the entire show was dedicated to his training/eating habits, with just a couple minutes to show he has a family life.
I would much rather this than when they show off their houses like an episode of “Cribs”.
The parts about his eating were hilarious “I eat for performance, not taste” and in the grocery store Rachel - “Does it taste good”, Sherk - “No”.
