Muscle Milk: Throw it Out

I buy the GF Muscle Milk because it’s the only protein that she’ll actually drink. Her diet is seriously lacking in protein and it makes me happy that she will at least drink one of these every day if I remind her. To me the benefits of her consuming and utilizing the much needed protein in her diet outweights the very slight chance that she’ll experience any health issues from it.

Hey sed26, have you tried Metabolic Drive from this site, because the first time i drank Metabolic Drive (Vanilla Flavor) the first thing that came to my mind was Muscle Milk, because it tasted almost the same. So why don’t you try that if you haven’t yet.

Sooooooooo… how many of you who have decided after this article to NEVER drink MM again are still drinking soda? microwaving your food in plastic? using aspartame? not washing your fresh vegetables with a cleaner to remove pesticides? eating cake and icecream? spend time in the sun without sunscreen??? (Hint: keep some perspective folks. )

I, for one, do not drink soda. Or microwave food in plastic. Or use aspartame. And I wash my vegetables. I don’t eat cake or ice cream. Occasional sun exposure is good for you.

I’d trade in a MM RTD for a homemade shake with whey isolate, blueberries, banana and flax oil - any day.

I love MM… But I’ll refrain from drinking it. Except for maybe occasionally in the movie theater to keep me from eating the crap they sell at the concession stand.

Thanks for the post MurrDawg.

And the point of this thread is… drumroll eat as close to nature as possible by not using packaged products with ingredents you are not able to pronounce. I thought we have all been through this already…

don’t see any glycocyamine in the ingredients list anymore:

I’m not up to date on things, but last I knew, the “ready to drinks” didn’t have it, but the powder did have it.

They removed the offending ingredient shortly after this article came out, I believe.

Bump.

So anyone still using this stuff?
