Congrats on the dl pr. And shoot at your size your bench is fucking strong too. I often miss the first time I go after a new weight. I think itās a head thingālike dipping your toes in the water before you dive in. Betcha you will get it next time.

Get over it and work on tuning everybody else out. Video is truly the best training tool in a sport where form is so important.

OHH this rest pause thingie I did for lat raise. PUKE INDUCING, WOOAHH. I think i did about 50 reps and then waited a bit and did a rest pause thingie for front raise. Light weight, but tough shit.
NG db presses felt dumb, so I decided to do NG one arm dumb bell presses, which felt awesome.
I forgot how much i loved those.
Worked up to 30lbs and RIGHT ARM got 6 but STUPID LEFTY got 4 so I had to wait and then add extra ones to the WEAK side. YES LEFT, YOU HEARD ME. I KNOW YOU ARE LACKING!!!
Anyway uhh OH seated facepull thingies so I donāt get so pulled toward the weight stack. I like theseā¦

Spock that is perfect, you know them well and they know you. That makes it easy, all you have to do is ask someone to film you and tell them why. Just tell them you are powerlifting and you are filming your lifts to work on an technique flaws so you can continue to improve. Then tell them that works best because you can pause it and stop it and etc.
If no one will or can film it for you, just use a bench or movable stool or something like that which most gyms generally carry.
Another congratulations on your 2xbw deadlift. Iām a long way off that. Keep on rollinā.
I always manage to find somewhere to prop my camera without asking anyone.

I donāt think I have ever seen anyone film themselves at my gym before in the history of my patronage. All the serious lifters have serious lifter friends and everyone else is just an old dude doing the lat pull down wrong.

I think deloading makes me grumpy, but iām soilderinā on. Itās weird how my body AND my mind just KNOW itās time to recover. Iām hungry as hell, sleeping wayy too much, and I have no motivation. Classic signs of a deload for me.

uhh 4 sets on the leg press, some leg extensions, back extensions, yaddda yadda.
Then I did a couple things for my biceps so i could get them out of the way for the week. Training biceps is insanely boring. I donāt know how the meat heads can enjoy it so much.
I realized I really like walking and I wish i never had to feel guitly about not doing conditioning work, but Jim Wendler says stay NORTH OF THE VAG! Which means I need to suck it up and do something hard sometimes. Damn him for being so coolā¦
ALSO, bored with core stuff. Adding in weighted crunches to the mix, but this is getting stale and I hate always having to resort to girly magazine core strengthing type things when I want to be strong like bull. CORE=IMPORTANT FOR SQUATTING. !

Well I asked my kid to be my valentine and he told me he was going to make the prettiest card ever for me. I told him I was going to make him a fancy card too, and weāre going to go on a mini golf date. Then I asked what romantic gift he was going to buy me and we started talking about flowers and roses and I told him i could get him a rose, but he was all worried that he had no vase.
ANYWAY
We always say we love each other times X mount number of T- rex (ha) So i ordered him a rose ina vase online to send to him for a day when he is going to be staying with my parents and I put on the card āI love you times 5 million t-rexā
I canāt wait until he gets it. I have never been excited for the big V day in my life, HAHA.

Have you ever tried the paloff press, Spock? I love it cause itās a quick and easy way to work the core and you can see results of getting stronger as you add weight. Itās really shown me how much stabilization the core is SUPPOSED to do.

Nobody except me films themselves in my gym either. I get asked about it all the time. When you explain that you are checking your form on the lifts, pretty much everybody understands that. Practically, its easier to set up a camera and film yourself when you have a little tripod. I use a gorillapod and it works awesome:
