Mr. Hammond, the phones are working...

Re: American Psycho. Awesome movie. NO he did not kill all those people. He was imagining it the whole time. The movie does not do a very good job at explaining that like the book does. Plus a lot of good scenes got edited out (like when he beats the shit out of the two escort whores). But it was a very good movie regardless.[/quote]

HmmMm, maybe I should read the book. I don’t think there was any thing in the movie, other than what the lawyer said near the end, to indicate that he didn’t actually kill all those people. CONFUSED>

I told my mom to watch it so maybe she can help me understand it better, heh.

K one of the best workouts I’ve had in a LOOOONG TIME.

5/3/1 week one, day one

SQUATS

warm ups

115 x 5
125 x 5
135 x 15!! 15 for my 5! I don’t know if I’ve ever gotten 15 on 135 before. Legs were JELLOOoOOOo

BBB Squats
115 x 10
115 x 10
115 x 10
115 x 10
115 x 10

SWEATY
ALSO HEADACHE

FELT GOOD MAN

GOod mornings
65lb (LOL) x 2 x 12

Even my good mornings felt good. Maybe in like 10 years I’ll be strong at them???

leg lifts 2 x 25
um straight legged sit ups 1 x 25
some oblique thing I dunno what it’s called 1 x 25
that medicine ball side to side thing 1 x 25
YA I am upping my core shit cause I says so.

Well very please with my first day back on the 5/3/1 train.
I know it says to start with MP, but my saturday bench day went awful so I figued the upper body needed an extra off day.
Bench tomorrow.

It’s funny though, as hard as I think I make myself work without a program, i would never in a million years torture myself with 115 x 5 x 10, Lol. Shit was awful.

Randomness:
George Jung (the guy who the movie “BLOW” was about) (Starring Johnny depp) (and penelope cruz)
will be released from prison Nov. 2015.

NOW why is this signifcant?
It’s not really, but let me explain.

I first watched the movie “BLOW” (Starring johnny depp) New years eve 2005.
I stayed at home instead of going out drinking because I felt sick.
SOOOoOO, after the movie was finished I cried. Which was weird for me cause I didn’t even cry in titanic and movie shit just don’t make me cry.
So i cried.
Then I went to the bathroom and sat on the toilet and started bawling, like FOR REALZ. WahH WAHH WAHH-esq. Poor guy i thought, POOR POOR GUY WAAAA
Crying CONT.
Could not stop.
THEN I was like OMG I am pregnant, aren’t I?!I AM FUCKING PREGNANT.

So ya, George Yung, and his sad tale, allowed me to clue into the fact that I was knocked up.

When he will be released my kid will be um

math…

9? I guess? 9.

and he will be like 70 +++

I want to write him a letter or something HAHAHHA

Anyway ya, last night I watched the movie BLOW, obviously.

I did not cry once.

HEARTLESS I AM
I was only heartfull when I had a kid inside me. MWAAHHA

MWAH
AHAMWAHA

As someone who recently did a 15 rep set of squats, I feel ya. That many reps is rough!

I did not expect to read today about someone who realized they were pregnant when the movie “Blow” made them cry.

I concur. I’ve done reps that high once in the last 3 years and it was a good thing I caught it on film because I may never do it again. Hats off to all.

I am concurring here as well.

I know I didn’t really have anything of my own to add here but I haven’t checked in here in a while.

HAHA Well when you put it like THAT it sure does sound weird.

But when I typed it out as my cute lil story it was quite charming indeed.

Maybe.

GREAT

OHHH AM SESSION FORGOT

Above was PM

AM:
Random prowler/sled work with my boiiii. Sled is much more pleasent than prowler. Can I just do sled forever? I like how I am not all bent over and whatnot like I am with prowler. I felt like a work horse, and I LIKES IT.

OOHhHH and one time my kid was pushing my bum while I pushed the prowler and when I picked up speed he accidently pulled my pants down HAHAH. Good thing I was wearing underwear…heh.

My kid’s (his name is Gabe BTW) workout:
Prowler push for half of half of the track, uh so 0.25. Tomorrow I’ll make him go 0.50. it was funny cause he was doing fine and then he was like OH MY I can’t believe I have to push this all the way back too! Then he stopped, Lol. The thought of pushing it all the way back was too overwhelming so he quit, ha. WHATEVAAA

Life news:
I made a bunt cake.

Carb backloading has brought out the baker in me! As a young girl I loved to bake, and with carb backloading I get to bake almost daily, yay!

Anyway, bunt cake, ya.

Your kid is funny…I’m the same way when I go for walks and shit…I don’t mind it at first, but then I realize I have to walk back and thats the part that sucks!

K UHH

Aug 08th

Ran stairs in the river valley with kid.

Ran 13 sets of stairs in 15 minutes and like 13 seconds. Kid did pretty well too! He was just going to be my counter, but decided to run. Got at least 5 or 6! PROUD
Still assured me I got 13 sets. Next time must get 14 in the same amount of time OR 13 in less time… yes…

TODAY Aug. 9th
5/3/1 Week one, cycle one, day THREE>

Deadlift

Warm ups
145 x 5
165 x 5
185 x 13! <—GOOD. Especially since I felt like death around the 8th. I realized the other day that I (and probably many of us) have a few more reps in us than we realize. Sometimes your brain says stop way before your body NEEDs to stop. So i went into today’s workout with that mindset, and Will try to keep that way of thinking throughout all my workouts.

BBB squats
115 x 10
115 x 10
115 x 10
115 x 10
115 x 10

AWFUL
LLY REWARDING

Leg ext. drop sets x 6 sets. Quad pump bro’s, HA.

Um, hanging leg raises 2 x 12
ropey cable abs 1 x 50

Uhh, random mat ab shit, bicycle crunches, ab thing that I am offically calling Christian Bale abs, OR CB abs for short, um ya other shit, some more other shit ANND DONE!

Great day!

I finally think I started with the right LBS for all my lifts this 5/3/1 time 'round. We’ll see how MP goes tomorrow.

Life news:

Bday is coming up in a few weeks time. Last year I wanted Oral (did not get).
This year… I dunno.
A batman teddy bear…or a batman pillow.
Some type of batman thing that I can cuddle with.
Maybe a gift certificate to a place that sells quality frozen beef.
Oral.
Still oral.
WHICH one of these ^^ things will I NOT get.

STARTS WITH O

ENDS IN L

HEH.

No mercy! Don’t think, just do! Pain, but no suffering!

Good cues to remind yourself to accept the inevitable pain and discomfort without succumbing, not let your brain stop your set before it’s over, and show no mercy to your body. Because you’re right, we could all hit a few extra reps if the courage and conviction was there!

Just now noticing my fail

Very well said! I like this a lot.

It’s supposed to hurt in a “I’m trying super hard” way! This will forever be in my brain now during my as many reps as possible sets
