Moving Workout Schedule Around

Hey guys,

Quick question, and this is pretty basic but honestly I don’t know. Does it affect anything if you move your workouts around based on convenience? Usually I work out 5 Days a Week Monday-Friday. If it’s more convenient one week to instead work out Monday-Weds and Then Friday and Saturday, does it really affect anything training related? Just curious because I always get my 5 days in, I just might change thigns around depending on when I’d prefer my off days that week.

The more you can settle into a consistent routine I’d say the better off you’ll be, but whatever allows you to get all your training sessions in and nail down your nutrition is just fine!

x2.

Some guys train five days in a row and take weekends off, some train Mon-Tues-Thurs-Fri, whatever works for you. Doesn’t matter in the long run, just get the training in.

I’d just make sure your sessions on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday are well-planned and account for any cumulative fatigue (so, like, you’re not training shoulders Monday, triceps Tuesday, and Chest Wednesday).

X3
The body adapts better to a consistent stimulus (Same schedules) but in the end the quality of your training is more important than that. Just like your nutrition.

Thanks Guys!
