That dude has an otherworldy physique. And as long as we’re talking about real physiques, what about Eliteballa? I mean he basicly invented the shoe measuring method all by himself.
As for the real issue here, why would you need a picture to find someone credible or not? If I read a post that is well written, informational and credible I don’t care what the poster looks like, he obviously knows what he’s talking about. Hell I remember some dudes having only one or two posts and no avatar making more sense than some mass-spammers with good physique pictures.
This thread is bullshit in my opinion. And yeah the most impressive (former) T-Nation physique belongs to Brandon Curry, but I guess he got kicked off because of his BSN sponsorship.

More likey he stopped posting because he’s sponsored by BSN and his contract doesnt allow him to. Agree with you that he has/had the most impressive physique on T-Nation.

I also heard he “got a lot of shit” on the forum while he was active. I certainly can’t attest to it myself, because I wasn’t on here at the time. Can anyone verify if this is correct?
I guess it depends on your perspective.
I come from a small town so LOTS of the people that post here have impressive physiques compared to the average person I see.
There are some people that have been mentioned already that have impressive physiques by any standard. I imagine there are probably others that just dont read the forums.

BTW. Great quads paul496!
He did cop a fair bit, he came on claiming these awesome lifts and posting a very impressive physique, causing alot of people to disbelieve that it was actually he in the pictures. The fact that he claimed to have little drive or motivation, sloppy eating habits and very impressive lifts/vertical jump/40 yard time etc did not help matters either.
He really is a genetic freak. He did post on here just before he got his pro card, telling everyone of his success, which was pretty cool. His attitude and dedication to body building had obviously increased over the years, and his cocky persona had been replaced with that of a real nice guy.

That reminds me of the thread over bb.com when Surge Nubret started posting. Took like ~6 pages of people calling bullshit before he proved them wrong. Its a shame to get treated like that.
Although I think if a pro came on these boards, he would be more welcomed then driven off.
I am certain you would skip some peoples posts if they had themselves as their avatar. The posts you’d be most interested in reading would be from the guys in the best shape. Usually the guys who are worth reading.
Paul you are spot on, I still don’t understand why serious posters or users of this bodybuilding site would not have some kind of picture in their profile or as their aviator - except that their real world physique is much smaller than their internet ego.
I’ll be changing my aviator to support this initiative.
Maybe I’ll post a pic in my profile. Personally, I wish there was some way I could turn everyone’s Avatar’s off so that people walking by my desk at work don’t think I’m looking at half naked dudes all day.

Such is the price of not working while at work.
In 2-3 months i should be fully dieted down maybe a bit longer then ill put physique up against anyone here ^[1]
Bring it on!!! GRRR!!!
In 2-3 months I’ll probably still be saying “well maybe i’ll lean up now”. I keep tellling myself I will lean out but i like the progress i’m making in terms of strength and mass to the point that I keep pushing off whether or not I want to cut…
Nah i threw in the towel on getting bigger last week, closing on 7 years now i have been eating and eating i was bored stupid
Dunno how long this will take to come ALL the way down, i have never seen all my abs before lol gonna be weird plus ima be FREEZING without my extra coat BBRRRRRRR
I feel ya. Since i was so light in high school I’ve always been one of those guys that was willing to go perma-bulk mode. Altho i did lose a bit of weight over the last couple of years but that wasn’t a good thing. It was because i stopped lifting so consistently. I got back into it a few months ago at a WT of 220 and am now back to 250 and going up…
Keep up the good work, as i said 7 years it took me to haul my ass from 170lbs to 284lbs first 2-3 i spent pissing round last 4 really i got lucky and met a guy in my current gym who is a frigging monster and the soundest guy ever.
Guess i lucked out, with that… so i suppose if i can pass on the knowledge all the better

be proud brother. A true physique is 1 that is huge & cut. Just like the pro’s. Go get it, if it’s time

A true physique is being a big hulking monster for me, abz or whatever im none to fussed over
But due to alot of factors, im just fed up of gaining weight !
Eating less has been a blessing, plain chicken breats are frigging BORING so i have no desire to eat either.
So ya hopefully 2-3 months i have 7 years worth of excess overspill to lose
And nice leg shot, nice to see some wheels which don’t look like chicken legs !
Of course, being short, I am always more motivated when I see someone my height - 5’7 - with an awesome build, but hard work is hard work.
Caveman and Brad Cardoza are the two guys whose physiques have really been awe-inspiring. 1morerep and NewDamage, ACTrain, elusive…too many to list without hurting some feelings
Thankfully, all of them have been as encouraging, as helpful as they are impressive. Some day, I’ll get there myself…
