Most Brutal Music For Powerlifting

I was hitting some Impossibility of Reason and Self Titled album of Chimaira today as a matter of fact!
Always gets me amped but I gotta say that All That Remains are better though, just variety of songs and vocal ability and insane guitar work above that of Chimaira… just my opinion but Chimaira’s stuff does get very monotonous…

i like chimairas singer more and they also suck ass nowadays but their old stuff gets me pretty pumped i wish there were more bands like this though: - YouTube

I enjoy visiting this thread right before I go workout.

Glad to see somone posted Carcass.

Here are some goodies on my workout mix:

Meshuggah

Entombed

High on Fire

Nuclear Assault… going back on this one.

LOVE DETHKLOK AND LOVE NUCLEAR ASSAULT !!!

this song makes my dick move a lil bit

I still can’t figure out why their first album never gained the popularity that the ones afterward did.

I’ve gotten tired of this metal and have been listening to the Dropkick Murphys and Zeppelin lately.

this is one of my favorite nuclear assault songs

Bump!

New song from October Tide, the full album is being released on september 28.

I am definitely not brutal enough:

Welcome to the Jungle
When the Levee Breaks
T.N.T.
Back in Black
Shout at the Devil
My Michelle

I need to stop taking Yaz.

its all good man i love classic rock but ive listened to it for so long i tend to go for heavier music when i wanna get pumped up

This isn’t even debatable, Hatebreed - Satisfaction is the Death of Desire is the best album for lifting.

Other good bands to lift to - Shattered Realm, Stout, Bulldoze, All Out War, Cold as Life, Crowbar, Enemy Mind, Billy Club Sandwich, Fury of Five, Blood for Blood, Irate, Knuckledust, Line of Scrimmage, Merauder, Mushmouth, Taste the Steel, Unit 731, Built Upon Frustration, Swear to God.

Or you could just constantly break PR’s to World of Pain, the band I sing in.

Enya is pretty brutal in her own way.

ive never really liked hatebreed that much but ive never heard satisfaction is the death of desire this is a badass album so i guess they were good at one point huh???

Yeah, back in the day Hatebreed were awesome. They did the Under the Knife EP which is fucking great, and then did Satisfaction which is perfect. Then, they did Perseverance which is different but still great lifting music. After that they just became generic and awful and put out several shitty albums which is what most people have heard of Hatebreed and thus don’t know how good their old shit is.
