Most Brutal Music For Powerlifting

rise and fall - into oblivion

Since its not worth its own thread:

What is a good weight to be benching before looking into using a belt and or shirt? Is there such a thing? A good weight? Amon Amarth is sick fyi.

There’s no point in using a shirt unless your going to be competing equipped. There’s also no set weight a person should be able to lift before using a shirt, since each person is different. If you have a squat and deadlift suit, etc, then get a bench shirt and start doing some competitions.

My picks for some killer lifting tunes would have to be…

As You Drown
All Shall Perish
The Red Shore
Decapitated
Benighted
Earth Crisis… i could go on forever haha!

  • 10 for Decapitated

So I came across this earlyer. Love Devildriver butnever went to their site, so I checked it out and this I the first thing I saw. Always like behind the senses stuff.

1:41 it gets EPIC!

Bathory

two songs Song to Hall up high + Home of once brave

the first is slow and relaxed and the second is heavy

A good bit of exodus gets me going… Anything from tempo of the damned to Exhibit A

Get this album!
ABACABB - Survivalists

^This is the opening track.

I use these two songs if I’m going for a 1RM. They are a little emo-ish band, but the beginning of these two songs gets my heart racing every time like I’m falling out of the sky

^ this song at 0:15 is awesome lol

I usually stick with August Burns Red, Disturbed, Emmure, ABACABB, or sometimes The Devil Wears Prada. If it’s a neural charge session though, I listen to much lighter stuff and just have fun

Oh shit dude, did you really just compare black metal to hatebreed and LoG??

This song gets me pumped… hell yeah pitch shifter.

This one too:

Grooooovy raw industrial black metal:

Use to be in this band until last year. My mates in it are still playing and rocking out all the time. One of their latest tracks… Gets me amped for gym all the time! Breakdown is sweet
