Montreal t-men??

Any t-men here from Montreal? If so, where do you train? Just curious, RM.

Ya, I’m in mtl. I train at home in my rack. Mostly powerlifts and some olympic stuff. No foo-foo pumping.

Yean, I live in Mtl, I train at the Cepsum…Centre d’éducation physique et sportif de l’université de Montréal…It’s cool and not really expensive for a student ( so a member) about 120$ per year… for a non-member…I think it hurts…But there are a lot of weights/machines…the music sucks but if you go when the morning classes finish, like 12h00 or 1 o’clock…the girls are ‘‘training’’ which can boost your T-levels a bit…

I trained at Cepsum for about 3 years. I stopped going in May when I got room to setup my cage.
As far as gyms go, it’s good, because you don’t have as many goofballs as some other places.
At least they had bumper plates so I could do cleans, although no one else ever did those.
I think I was the only guy to ever do 20 rep squats with over 300 there. Full squats that is, not 1/4 squats like most people do. Come to think of it, I’ve never seen anyone do 20rep squats, period.

I train at the McGill gym…makes sense that I go to McGill then, huh? We get our fair share of goofballs, and the music is generally bad, but can’t beat 30 bucks a semester. RM

I was in Montreal a few days in June. I was staying at the Hotel du Parq, so I paid $5C to work out at the health club next door (and hang at the great pool). I was working out and some guy walked in with a Testosterone shirt. I finished my set and looked for him, but he had left.

I train at the Nautilus Plus in Pointe-Claire the weekdays and Brossard the weekend. The reason I joined this gym is because it was close to where I live and they have gym in the Quebec city area as well. Since I used to travel alot, Nautilus Plus was the right choice, and still is. It goes against this week’s atomic dog, but I never have to wait for the squat rack. Personnal trainers suck big time, music sucks, but I’m too focused on my training to let that bother me. In Brossard, you can see good looking bodies, but everywhere else, I didn’t see anything good to inspire me. Êtes-vous des francophones, anglophones ou bilingues? Peut-être devrions nous partir la french connection?

I lived in Montreal and the surrounding areas for 26 years. Some of the gyms I used to train at during the years you may know. During the late 80’s I trained at the old Diamond Gym off Sources Blvd in DDO. I think it is called Monster Gym now. After that until I left for Ontario I was pretty much at Seguins gym in Lasalle.

I go back every 3-4 months to Montreal, beautiful city, but my wallet told me to head to Ontario.

Hey i am also from Montreal and i train at Flex
