Why grapes/carrots twice per day???
Nuts/seeds/EFA’s
If you are really really tight on budget:
Invest your money in those first, then if some extra get the nuts/EFA’s and carbs.
good stuff man… ill check it out.
If your going to get protein powder, I recommend Biotest’s Grow! Whey 5lbs. Based on your budget its probably the best bang for your buck and it helps its low in calories.
Yes a can straight up as a meal or a snack if you turn it into 2-3 tuna sandwiches. Light on the mayo enuf for taste, with some salt and pepper and chopped celery.
Also for a change you can make a egg sandwich same concept, either mashed up with some mayo or pam it up on a frying pan and throw some salsa on to taste if necessary.
For taste 0 calorie spices, Siracha hot chili sauce from asian markets ( on tuna ), habanero hot sauce.
A can of tuna straight up has 30-35 grams of protein. so I wouldn’t call that a snack. I’d call that a meal. Though it takes strong will to eat can after can ~ You might want to consider stealing vegetables from everyone as just living off of shakes and tuna can be hazardous for bowel movements. Not lethal just difficult.
Oh this is just a followup to your other thread concerning cardio and the fact you live in a region where working outside is difficult at best.
My friend runs a fitness center that specializes in a workout that probably fits what you can do in your room for cardio/aerobic work. Theres several videos, enjoy.

I go to my schools gym directly after school, there is everything I need there.
I just can’t run late at night, because I’ll be home by then.

Very first link under “Are You A Beginner II” is
7 Habits of Highly Effective Nutritional Programs
These are two crucial points… that I geuss you must have missed while you read the stickies.
Eat complete (containing all the essential amino acids), lean protein with each meal.
Ensure that 25-35% of your energy intake comes from fat, with your fat intake split equally between saturates (e.g. animal fat), monounsaturates (e.g., olive oil), and polyunsaturates (e.g. flax oil, salmon oil).
…sun chips arent exactly fish oil for the body

I don’t NEED the stickies home-slice. You see, back in the day I actually did my homework instead asking others to do it for me.

stop being so cocky, if you talked like this to some of these people irl they would probably smash you.

Meat head reads only what he wants to read, and then attacks me for it.
Seriously, I asked for advice on WHAT foods I should eat to FILL IN THE GAPS of what I am missing
The stickies, I have read
Oh, and…internet tough guy… for futures purposes, stay out of my threads unless you have a constructive post.
(Judging by your intelligence I don’t think that will ever happen)

Using musclehead as an insult on this site isn’t going to score you any points with anyone.
Why don’t YOU reread your posts. Most people don’t feel the need to do your diet/excersize homework for you.
get real.
As a new member on this site I have found this thread very useful and informative on how not to start my first thread! Which I will be doing. I promise to listen and learn.
Hangerbaby are you ready for Monday? =)
Kit~
Hanger,
I agree viamently with both beebuddy & zephead. If you want help from this community then dont be an asshole. I’m new to the site too but with the help and encouragement of some of the same people who read and/or post to your thread I am on my way to reaching my goals.
I have much larger dietary concerns and weight loss goals than yours, not that yours aren’t important, but if i didnt put the time into reading “ALL OF THE INFORATION ON THIS SITE THAT COULD SPECIFICALLY HELP ME ACHEIVE MY GOALS” then I wouldn’t be moving forward.
If you want help, then consider helping yourself first. After you’ve done your own homework then ask for help. If you want someone to do it for you then go hire a nutritionist.
If you dont want certain people to respond to your post then dont enter a thread. Grow up and take it like a man.

Funny, I didn’t call them muscleheads, I called you a meathead.
You are one.
Now you’re generalizing them for me, I like everyone so far except pozzska and you. So please, just stay out of my thread as I don’t want your unintelligent dribble to get in the way of someones constructive post.

I’ve read the stickies… I have gone through this before, and I read the stickies.
Only the dimwitted would misinterpret my post as a parade of nutritional ignorance, asking for everyone to do my homework.
You know, its starting to seem like we have a lot of uneducated members who don’t want to help because they themselves are unsure. Then we have the very helpful, very understanding person who has obviously been in the community for awhile.
I just don’t want these autistic mules ruining my thread due to their inept reading abilities

you would have gotten a lot more positive responses in this thread had it not been for you’re complete lack of rational thinking, and you thinking you’re owed something.

I am getting SEVERAL positive responses, now, if it wasn’t for unintelligent worms like you, they would ALL be positive. Also, rational thought? Like I need some baboon with the internet tough guy attitude to march on in and talk about rational though. Please.

Hanger, this will be the last post from me. First, this isnt your thread, this is a public communication platform that is a way for members to comminicate and contribute information with other members. Unlike character, taking ownership does nothing for this community.
Personally, I could careless whether you think you’re smarter or more educated than others here on T-Nation, but you probably are not as many people in here have advanced degrees (including me) and have years of life and professional experience, not to mention years of nutritional and lifting experience. This experience and wisdom is what a humble and “smart” individual would assimulate and put into a databank of choices.
Its been said several times by some in this thread that your diet sucks, and it does. From me that is not intended as an insult rather a point that you need to look at your diet. A good diet does not have to include suppliments I dont take any (excepting 100% whey protein) but eat a balanced diet tending to favor more protein, but also including lots of nuts & fats.
Best of Luck
Hey for all of you giving advice I have a newbie thread in the Powerful Woman’s forum!
I would love any help or advice you will give me.
Sorry for mooching on your posters Hangerbaby but they seem like they know what they are talking about.

It is as if people can gather round a table and eat all day, with infinite resources.
Value this–!
I don’t have these kinds of things, or resources.
So far I’ve worked in a few hardboiled eggs a day, some natural peanut butter. Tuna in a can. etc.
EVERY DAY
and it is a financial BURDEN to eat all of this.
Not to mention I just don’t have the appetite required for that much food!

How arrogant for you to assume that anyone cares! Take care of your business and stop making excuses. You sound like a child.
