Just thought I would share a few pics. If anyone followed my Thailand thread these are of the Big Aussie there in training for UFC I think it was. Any way had his first match in Japan. He gave it his all but lost. He more of a striker as a strong point and matched against a wrestler. Once he got ahold of himm and to the ground well was a tough day.

I believe it was the last Pancrase card…the guy he fought trains with minowa…all in all he was greatly overmatched on the ground. Big dude though, I’d hate for him to hit me.

Yup all that sound about right and yes he was very over matched on the ground. I can try and find out for sure on the org. etc.

Take off the bullshit gloves, drop the rules, rounds and time limits, and NOBODY beats this guy in his prime. Rickson “The Man” Gracie[/quote]
Could you find a gayer picture of Rickson to express your unrequited love for him. Jesus.
By the way, this guy would have given Rickson a ton of trouble.
The Tito and Chuck pic. Um…Tito hasn’t done anything to prove he’s a great fighter. A great mouthpiece for himself, yes. But he hasn’t actually beat anyone in the last 5 or 6 years. His wins came over B or C level fighters (Cote, Forrest) or guys 20-40lbs lighter (Tanner, Kondo), or against over-the-hill fighters (Ken Shamrock, Belfort).
His notable win is against Vanderlei Silva, but before he was…well…Vanderlei Silva. Ok, and Guy Mentzer in his prime, but that was 7 years ago. Since then he has only fought people 2 or 3 weight classes lower, an old guy, a burnout, and amateur level fighters. I think he has potential, but that means nothing if he doens’t fight top guys.
You can’t be a great fighter if you don’t at least TRY to fight great fighters. Doesn’t matter if you win or lose, at least show up and try to fight the best in world, like this little guy here.

Shit man I thought that was Greg Louganis! I couldn’t figure out why it was posted in this thread.
To the original poster, great fight pics. Mad props to the fighters for puttin on the gloves!
