Anyone have any suggestions on stuff to mix with natural peanut butter?
The reason I ask is I think I’m going to replace the mixed nuts I’ve been eating with some natural peanut butter. It is just a change of pace for a little while and I’ll probably eat it with some celery or carrots. Since it is a pain in the ass to mix it I’ll probably mix it up on Sunday when I fix my food for the week and I was thinking about putting it in the blender and maybe throwing some fruit/berries or something in with it. I’m far from an expert around the kitchen so I don’t know if that is a good idea or not, or if anyone has any other suggestions.

Seriously?! I LOVE PB bt itself…or with anything!
To the original poster…try blending it with whey, mix it with cottage cheese, put it on veggies, etc. You can get pretty creative with it. I’ve even gone so far as to melt on on top of green beans, which is decent.
Back in the day (which actually wasn’t too long ago), I’d religiously mix 30 grams of melted PB every night with two scoops of whey. Any flavor works, but chocolate is usually the best. Or even better…a banana/chocolate combo. Anyway, then I’d dip veggies it. Good stuff.
I would throw Metabolic Drive (either choc or bannana or a scoop of both sometimes) in my oatmeal, then toss in a HUGE spoonful of nat PB. Oatmeal never tasted so good (and probably never had so many calories in 1 bowl.
i like the taste, so i dont blend it with veggies or fruit…if anything i combine it with foods like met drive and oats…but thats cause i like the taste of all 3.
Try stirring with a spoon…AFTER pouring some of the oil off. Sometimes companies pack too much oil into the container and there is excess…So pour it off, stir with a spoon…refrigerate it and then try it and see if the taste is better. Also what company did you buy?
im curious because so far the natural pb’s that i have tried have been good.
BTW, I make homemade peanut/walnut/almond butter for my daughter that is unspeakably kickass. Nuts, EVOO, chocolate whey, black strap molasses, cinnamon, an opened multi cap and some real butter in the food processor for several minutes until creamy. I have to practically keep her at bay with kitchen implements until I can get it in a container and obviously VERY healthy.
