That’s what makes them so insidious. They can sound rational on individual policies (sometimes) but when you examine all of the supporting arguments you get into the wild beliefs about the world that are not supported by any facts.
Plenty of intelligent people got roped into it.

The beautiful and frankly unexpected part of this tremendous victory for America is how quickly woke is unraveling. I wasn’t expecting this.
It won’t be long before it will only be malicious people and mentally ill left in the woke camp, and the malicious will leave as soon as the grift dries up completely.
Democrats must distance from it. I see no other possible path they can take. It’s probably best that they do, for everyone’s sake.
There is still a bar in LaCrosse, Indiana called Kreuger’s Korner Klub, and that’s about all the traces of the KKK you can still see in Indiana. There’s some white robes waddling around the cornfields somewhere too, but I only ever saw those guys once.

And the crux of it all was relativism, as an ideology, which makes no sense. The end of relativism if you work it through is literally nothing.
Relativism has more in common with Realpolitik than wokeism. Wokeism removes context and intent from the equation making it, in a way, the opposite of relativism. In order for wokeism to be related to relativism, you need to remove the identity politics and hierarchy of victimhood.
