Misha 2221 Total

I wanna see him get a 2500 raw total. He’d be the best ever.

Bwahahahahaha!

Who’s Fran?

Fran’s dead baby. Fran’s dead.

…He beat Fran to death with the squat bar. [/quote]

haha, good Tarantino reference.

I have top comment

I wonder why he switched to mixed grip after all those deadlifts with a hook grip.

Good heavens. This guy is just insane, and still improving at PLing.

haha…im of work on medical leave due to major cervical spine surgery and bored as hell, so i think i will start a flame war.

THIS is why i find geared lifting so annoying.

look at this vid again, then again, and then please explain how a there was a thread once that argued female world champ laura phelps was stronger than this man because she squatted more than him in a multi ply monolift fed.

this would be funny only if there was not a significant number of people who actually supported that ridiculous argument.

even after i posted a vid of misha casually HANG snatching 200kg, no typo, it was a hang snatch with 200kg, they STILL argued.

sigh.

Dude, just stop.

no! bwahaha

lets see who i can sucker in

He was talking trash holding 160 kilos and snatched it while laughing!

Wait a second … There are actually people on these forums who believe Laura Phelps was physically stronger than Misha? WTF!

Do you happen to have the link to said discussion?

Can we please not do this? This thread was doing just fine, there is no need to turn this great accomplishment into this.

Sweet Baby Jesus swaddled in cloth, this was very encouraging.

I love how effortless it looked for him. “2200 raw total? lol too easy”

it starts hear i think. looking back on it, it was not as “bad” as i remembered…but still interesting enough to point out the absurdity of various elements of this ongoing debate

i would say i am sorry Pwnisher, but i actually am not. i have this uncontrollable urge to speak up when somebody tells me what i am allowed to discuss in an open forum.

oh, and also, like i said, i am bored and off work and training for a while recovering from surgery, and its the holidays and i cant travel to see my family till next week, so, well, good luck on shutting me up.

i am only about 1/2 serious about all of this in case you are wondering. i really could care less, just thinking out loud and bored, as i said before.

I never said what you were allowed to say on an open forum. You are looking for confrontation that is not here.

EDIT: Also, if you are bored, consider using your experience in getting big and strong in helping some of the new guys around here rather than starting a flame war. You have a lot to contribute, and something like that would not only benefit those individuals, but the forum as well. The “raw vs gear” debate won’t add anything to this place.

Or make a thread about your training history so we can ask questions and learn from your experience personally.

heavythrower does have a “how do/did you train” thread somewhere I think? I wish I could find it especially as I’m gonna be starting throwing this semester.

Misha is ridiculously strong. I’d be interested to hear (experienced people’s) thoughts on the fact that the guy kicks ass at olympic lifting, powerlifting, AND strongman. How the hell do you train for that? Brandon Lilly has been kinda pushing this idea recently that you should just get FUCKING STRONG at everything. I’m not sure what I think of that.

also, heavythrower I hope your surgery goes well!

You forgot about Highland games asshole

Meh, I could do that by now if I started juicing as earlier as he did.
