Could someone tell me if there is such a thing as to much milk in your diet?
I think if its i skimor 1% milk then the answer is no if you are just looking for strength and siz increase. You may hold some more water due to the high sodium content. Some people swear that milk product bloat them and that could be due to the latose levels and/or the sodium levels. It just depends on how you body digest it. 2% milk and higher devrive at least 70% of calories from fat. this is def, not a good idea as a large portion is saturated. It is a good source and very cheap so I would say to continue drinking it and drink as much as you want if your body can handle it and you dont get fat off of it.
I reckon you can over do it with milk. I used to tloerate lactose fine untill I started to mix skim milk powder in skim milk and drink it about 6 times a day, after about 3 months I became lactose intolerant.
skim milk is the worst for causing this because there is no fat to slow down digestion and give your body enough time to digest the lactose plus it usually contains the highest amount of lactose. Now I can only drink milk in small quantaties. I still use skim milk but I add some good fat to it like flax or olive oil(to slow down digestion) and then add some flavour to make it taste good. I dont use normal milk because of the saturated fat content. So be carefull and dont over do it.

Nature designes mothers milk as the perfect food with the exact combination of everything the body needs for rapid growth, brain development and to develop an immune response. The odd thing is that we as humans drink another species’ milk. Personally i would have no problem consuming milk as long as it was directly fresh from monica brant. Apart from that consume it as you would anything else in moderation, well except some things but that’s a whole different topic.

agreeing with Bill, if the gains are good then the amount is right, if you are becoming a fat ass back off.
Additionally, “everyone” is lactose intolerant, it’s just everyone has a different point of intolerance, find your line, it’s fun.

as i’ve stated before (for me) whole milk and lean red meat have helped tremendously with gains in muscle. If you start to lose sight of the abdominal area back off a bit, increase calories burned, or both. if you look down whilst standing and cannot see your penis your bulk has gone too far.

Can we turn this thread into what happens if you chug a half gallon of whole milk?
I spent the better part of this last school year drinking 2%/whole milk after my workout.
I got stronger, I lost fat.
I shat like theres no tomorrow. I built up a tolerance to about 1/4 gallon of whole milk at a time, before I have to take a few minute break, after that I have to sip it. But that still didn’t stop me from chugging it from time to time. The poo looked like spahgetti-os
