I also taught a core class for 45 minutes. Pretty sure the ladies who participated are gonna hate me tomorrow morning when they’re trying to get out of bed :X Oh well…

Fellow migraineur! I am lucky that I get full-blown migraines only about once every other month. Primary triggers are stress and light (if I feel one coming on, I put on polarized wraparound sunglasses, and sometimes a baseball cap. Don’t care where I am or if it looks appropriate. Taking NSAIDS at first sign used to help, but since I have stomach issues, I’m not allowed to take them anymore.)

Really just posting to say that I hope that yours get under control. I do think it’s pretty swell that you’re doing all of the work to really figure out your triggers and options, and keeping lifting while you do it

Thanks! I just had blood work done, and I’ll be off to a doctors appointment to address the test results later today. As for the lifting, I can’t let them bastards get me down, it’s not an option

Yesterday was a kettlebell workout since I was at my fiancé’s house. Which put me a day behind I my lifts, oh well!

Taught another core class today. If I sub next week, I’m thinking of doing more plyo’s than just abs. Also, been experimenting with rope climbing. I need to get a better rope, specifically a thicker one, but for now I have just been sitting and lifting myself up to get my upper body doing a movement it hasn’t done since fourth grade.

Plus a fasted NEPA this morning: exercise bike for 26 minutes.

Been thinking of scaling back just a bit this upcoming week because of work: I have my coaching job, plus an interview for a real life, big girl job Monday evening. Then, Wednesday I have to host a track meet for ages 5-12, and Thursday, I have a self defense class I teach, which will be a half hour longer to make up for lost time due to the Fourth of July. We’ll see. I tell myself to scale back, and I still squeeze some sort of workout in.

Decided to switch up the lifts a bit, but keep the same style workout.

Hi!
I have just skimmed your log (so please forgive me if you have addressed this), but I wanted to know if you have had a chance to work with anyone (regarding your headaches) who specifically specializes in physical self-regulatory strategies or biofeedback to manage the headaches?

As a former migraine and tension headache sufferer, I am so sorry you deal with this chronic pain issue. I have also had some clinical training working with chronic pain so I wanted to touch base and learn a little more about your situation.

Never heard of “physical self-regulatory strategies,” so I’ll definitely look into it. Thanks for the tip!

Rear delt raises
