Gotta love those days when you’re sore, but you know you’ve really worked for it, so even hobbling feels damn good.

Hope Vinpocetine works for you! Have you been getting any relief or improvement from the elimination diet?

There really wasn’t much of an improvement with the elimination diet, which means food could be a trigger but not the actual cause.

Well that’s annoying. I went through the same thing with skin issues. No real improvement, and just wound up getting frustrated.

Hope you can figure it out soon!!

Pretty sure it’s April 6 in the evening. I have to jump through hoops to find this information…

I’m thinking back squats should be upped for next time, but I got the paperwork for the lifting meet and it’s April 3rd. So after the next Tuesday’s lifting sesh, I’m thinking of a deload. Cut down on the weight a bit to not be sore for the meet.

I lied. I didn’t feel like deloading today, lol. Oops.

Instead of going to the gym to do NEPA, which I always think about on my days off but never do (except for the weekend-day off), I looked up the records for the meet. I’m really stubborn and determined, so if and when I compete, I compete with everything I have and then some (aka: I like to win, but win with shattering records).

The 165 weight-class records for the meet are:

Bench 165
Squat 205
Deadlift 240

I have the deads’ record squashed. The squat record is doable, since I’m doing 185 for 20 reps. Bench is iffy. My max last year for throwing was 145. I guess we’ll see with bench, along with weighing in. I gained weight (probably from the muscle) but my belly button is still 33inches, so started pumping some Metabolic Drive into me before my early morning lifting seshs. And maybe doing it more often leading up to it (I liked being 158 :X)

Figured today should be easy. Wasn’t going to push myself and then feel it all day tomorrow and wednesday. Did some abs with the hold (not going more than 10 reps at most), boy did it burn.

Upped vinpocetine up to three tabs a day, so far feeling a lot better. Still get the headaches, but not as severe, hopefully it sticks until I can find a more affordable solution.

Getting pumped for tomorrow and wednesday. Get to eat sushi tomorrow as my extra clean carbs and protein, which I haven’t had in MONTHS! And then wednesday, another challenge to try to conquer. Lessgoooo

Welp, today’s the day! Got two finibars, some Surge Recovery, and two clementines packed. Weighed myself this morning at 161, even after I thought I shoved my face full of sushi (which didn’t have that much rice on it, go figure). I got my chalk packed and my numbers in mind; just gotta get through classes and some down time. Gonna weigh in as soon as I can, and then eat a finibar.

Well, I’m still alive. Broke the school records for squats and dead lift. For bench, I hit 135 and failed for 145 twice (record is 165). School record for squats was 205, now it’s 210; and the dead lift record was 240, it’s now 300.

Feeling rather satisfied by today’s work. Now, I’m waiting for the bus to go back to my apartment and eat, shower, sleep.

Well, sitting officially is uncomfortable, and standing/walking is bearable… one wrong step and my lower back flares up. Skipped a class today because I couldn’t sit any longer after three hours of classes. But hey, I shattered a record, or two. Tomorrow is gonna be some NEPA at the gym, and looking to start up another program Saturday, or at least this weekend.
