Dixie is a stud. Has he done any new meets recently? I need to check his log most often - he got some goofy facial expressions on all his vids ha![/quote]

He makes me feel bad about my little bodybuilding weights and pump training haha

Not sure what his recent or future meet plans are. I think I read about him being busy with school and a new job or somethin

I am the rage guy apparently.

I am honored to be a part of this list, Im really just a dude who just makes it up as he goes along and/or does whatever PeteS says (btw, PeteS should be on this list, dude just hit a 705 raw pull with some serious injuries, and has benched over 700 in competition).

CtRock is right, school and work are taking most of my time right now. Working close to full time with night classes this summer. Wooooo grown up life. No meets are planned, and right now am not really powerlifting, dare I say I am bodybuilding…ish. Still pulling though. Too much fun pulling.

And why all the love for liquidmercury? He is under 200lbs, or as one lifter once said, a woman (Matt Rhodes) /trollin errday.

It’s cause I’m pretty.

I second PeteS. The guy is humble, and stupid strong.

Yeah, I just creeped his log!

Me=blown away!

I haven’t mentioned Pete only cause I put him on the same level as some of the elite competitors here (e.g. marauder) and not necessarily an up-and-coming guy kicking ass. I’ve been on his log for a looong time and he is a bulldozer! I want to be like Pete when I grow up!!!

Bumped.

I am currently moving across the country to Seattle, WA to go back to grad school, so if any one of you fucks has gym recommendation around the University of Washington / Greenlake area, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE hit me up. Driving cross country sucks balls + I tweaked my back first day of travel, so I am sure July will be just catch up for me to get back to previous levels.

On the bright side - since I quit my job mid-June, my training exploded for the last 2 weeks and I was smashing records left and right. Who woulda guessed demanding public accounting job could impede lifting progress eh?!

Good news, only part of the country without a heat wave.

I feel like I’ve made really good progress.

These are my numbers from November of last year

Age:24
Height/Weight:6’2/190
bench/squat/dead: 200/225/215=640

Current
Age:25
Height/weight: 6’2/217
bench/squat/dead 270/410/415=1095

I’ve added 455 pounds to my total and 27 pounds in body weight in seven months.

I ran smolov jr and smolov base in that time. I’ve did a lot of 5x5 work. I’ve tried to eat as healthy as possible and work on my form non stop on every lift.

Here is the oldest squat video on my computer, it’s my doing what looks to be 205x 6 on the 27th of November. I didn’t even know how to record myself yet. lol

Here is the 205x6, I don’t think it went with my first post.

Actually I think that is 185x6 now that I look at it. I was so weak.

Here is my 410x1 to compare to November.

Word! My wife is from Seattle so that’s the main reason we are moving, but every time I have visited - damn, I love that city - great weather - never too cold, never too hot. Goodbye symmer-100±degrees induced depressions (I lived in Philly for the last 8 years and there are some brutal summers there that make you want to commit suicide)
