The only plausible situation that I could imagine where I would even CONSIDER punching a girl in the face is if a group of girls, maybe 8 or more, were beating the crap out of my sister of girl friend or some other female family member and I was seriously concerned for their safety. In that case there would be too many girls to try to wrestle off, and I would definitely be willing to crack a female in the mouth if she were trying to hurt someone I cared about.

Aside from that, no, even if a female has a bat I’m confident I could get it from her without punching her.

Now Mel Gibson punched his wife while she was holding her daughter… Unless she had a knife to his daughter threatening to kill her there is almost no other circumstance that would justify knocking her teeth out. Saw a PSA poster one time about the warning signs of abusive relationships. It not always about cussing someone out or beating them. There was stuff a lot like what you mention, plus -

  • Telling the person they should feel grateful, because no one else would accept them since they’re ugly, stupid, talentless, or whatever
  • Using sex as a weapon - including witholding it as a punishment
  • A lot of jealousy and suspicion, especially when there’s no real reason for it
  • Encouraging the person to be suspicious of their family and friends (so as to separate them)
  • Limiting their access to money, even if it’s their own

BULLSHIT. I have had a woman pull a knife on me. In my attempt to NOT harm her in anyway, she was getting some pretty good jabs in. While I may be all for peace and against harming other people, sometimes it S necessary because I don’t know what planet some of you are living where women are helpless weak individuals that you can ALWAYS subdue.

Growing up, my dad would always tell my brother and I, “You put a woman on a pedestal and treat her like a princess - never raise your voice or your hand to her. Minority races and women have supplanted a fair percentage of the most qualified applicants in both the work force and education. The bottom line should be that the most qualified candidate gets the job/scholarship regardless of sex or race, and the aggressor in a fight should get the same defensive response regardless of the genitalia they posses.
