I’m surprised you think a 1000 lbs deadlift is that far out of your reach. You’ve been training what, 3 years? When you factor in an additional 15 years of lifting minimum (Andy bolton was 37 when he pulled 1003), steroids, equipment, and not to mention a WPO bar, it seems almost inevitable.
I really hope to see you compete soon. When can we expect your first competition?
Preferabley no time soon to be honst, I have allot of shit I want to do right now. Lose fat, get more muscle, get more strength etc.
I will have to compete before im 18, other wise all the 16-17 records will be out of the question.
If I pull 800 at 17, I continue to lift heavy for 10+ years after that without injury and drugs I could probably pull 1000lbs. But its so far off right now its not eve funny. My gains will slow down sooner or later.
there is no rush your enjoying yourself right now it seems in your videos. I mean its not like powerlifters make a career out of lifting they have other day jobs they do it for fun. You just got to keep the lifting fun for yourself, and your gains will keep coming. I do think you would enjoy the lifting a bit more being slightly more lean though probably like 250 solid or so. Then hit 750 on deadlift, which would be 3x bodyweight which at 250 is pretty damn impressive.

Iam, I have just started doing hardly any volume and taking a week off between workouts. Everyone tells me they cant train as often as I do so I tryed training less often. And it worked short term… I got some extra strength gain on my bench.
But starting today Im upping my volume and lifting more often again.
Today
Deadlift with the texas deadlift bar (belt/liftingstraps)
135x3
225x3
315x3
405x2
495x2
610x9 touch and go, the 9th rep was hitched…
I gotta say, first time using the deadlift bar, and it sorta fucked with me. It was wipping around all over the place and made the reps a litle harder actually. the nurling tore my shins to pieces, I got 8" lines of blood up my shins lol.
Cheat curl
135x5
185x5
225x6 missed 7 After those deads I just couldnt go heavy on these…
Pulldown
Stack x 36PR
Cable row
Stack x 28 PR
Dumbell Row
150x15 easy, Il add 2-3 reps a workout
Hammerstrength shrug
405x15 easy as hell also,2-3 reps a workout
RearDelt machine
Stack x 10 PR but easy
Spider curls
90x2x10
Goals here
Pulldown Stak x 40
Cable Row stack x 40
Dumbell row 150 x 40
Hammer strength shrug 405 x 40
Rear Delt fly machine stack x 40
This will take a long time to get, but once I do Il have a big ass back and probably have the upper back strength for a 800 deadlift.

good to see your still here and training hard. a 800lb deadlift would be sick as hell. looking forward to see you destroy it in the future
keep up the good work
Thanks, I think Il be going for it in 15 weeks or so. Even if Im not strong enough to deadlift 800 it by then Il probably hitch it or get a deadlift suite or something.

On that subject, I’m doing the training program you recommended to me for the bulk a couple of weeks ago-- 6 days on with 2 back, 2 pressing, 2 leg days. It’s killer, but I’m adjusting to it. PR’s every workout, and I’m eating/growing like a horse with no real fat gains apart from the water weight. I will post here again at the end of the summer to let you know how it all went. Cheers!

awesome stuff man, I hope it keeps working for you.
Lots of volume, you always seemed to make best strength gains in the past with lower volume and lots of heavy singles. Be interesting to see how this works compared to old style.

You are a fucking beast, this is some amazing weight you are moving, keep working hard and move some heavy shit. You have any plans of competing soon?
no plans to compete, other than weight lifting this year at school, I want to take state.

can i ask what do your parents think of your weight lifting and weight gain?
They think Im unhealthy, my dad isnt impressed, and my mom is impressed, but tells me to stop lifting heavier weights.
Nothing better then good old motivation.
The only cool thing is my brother is a very serious lifter so i get motivation from him. And my dad makes a ton of money so everything I need to get strong is covered and then some. I mean my parents could back me up a little bit but I got it pretty damn good.
