Here’s a quick bench press video in case any of you are wondering if I’m posting bullshit. It’s 315 for 2 reps, and don’t mind my mom who’s spotting me, lol.

The video isn’t showing up for me, but it sounds like you’ve done great so far. I’ll definitely be keeping my eye on this thread.
Yeah the video isn’t showing up for me either, but I don’t imagine anybody disputing your lifts. I look forward to following your thread. Good Luck.
Thanks bro, just wanted to clear the air though cause everyone whos has been posting lifts lately has been getting flamed. It will also feel good to look back and say, “damn I could only hit 315 for 2 reps, I’m pushing 405 now,” lol.

Yeah, I know what you mean about proving your lifts. You do contribute a lot of positive information on the site unlike most of the people who just come on and brag about their alleged lifts though, so most people would probably believe you. But it will be awesome to be able to look back and see your previous limits after you set new personal records.
Nothing wrong with that. You can lift whenever you feel like it. That’s also very good your family is supportive of your goals - pro bodybuilding. I’m not sure what my initial reaction would be if my son told me that was his lifelong dream. Perhaps, good luck!?
Austin you are definitely strong and no doubt will get stronger. Nice lift even with the butt coming off a little. Great that Moms is supporting you literally by spotting you.

5/10 on the vid you get 10 for your mom and minus 5 for your lift
Keep your ass on the bench when you bench press…I remember when i was in high school and kids tried to bench like that.
Anyways you get the red lights no lift…
It’s a habit I’m trying to break. It doesn’t come off much, but It wouldn’t pass in competition. If I concentrate I can pull off at least a rep. I’m using lighter weights to figure out my foot positioning which is what’s fucking me up. I get abetter one up when I’m situated.
On a further note, my family is very supportive of my lifting, I actually was able to get my dad to start lifting again as he used to be very invovled with the sport. After he started a family he gave it up for quite awhile. Now at 48, he’s been lifting consistantly and is able to put up 350 with ease.
Not to be a dick but you need a new bench with a quickness, you keep putting up that kind of weight and that SOB is going to fall apart! Saftey first bro!
