bench, flat footed, paused locked out etc
135x5
225x3
245x13 lockout is really good on these, its really easy to lock these out. That last volume workout I did was good for my lockout.
close grip stopping 1-2" before chest
225x9 damn stoping short is really hard… not just muscular wise but its hard on my shoulders and just really weird.
3 boards
315x5 eh, weak as all hell but I think its a exercise that I will get really strong at.
strict standing full rom military press, locked out etc. Just leaned back on the reps somewhat.
135x3
155x3
185x10 strong… fresh I gotta have like 205x10 225x10 was my goal but it looks like Il be past that.
Im gonna keep adding strength like this for a while, say until I get to 315 for reps. And then Im gonna run the blast your bench program.
Im thinkin after the byb program Il be at around 405 paused with my feet flat. That would be really good in my book considering how weak Iam without my mega arch and super wide grip /bouncing and not locking out.
the flat footed stuff is what really kills me, I had a monster arch with how I tucked my feet etc.

you still plan on being the strongest person under 18 to ever live? your birthdays only a few months away i remember following this since you were 15.
nope, i failed.
well I didnt really fail, although i didnt do anything in competition. I did get some really nasty lifts at 17 in the gym tho that I doubt anyone will be able to do for quite some time.
Im gonna try for 455-500 paused on bench before im 18, so that combined with a 700 squat and 700x4 straped touch and go dead im pretty set with those numbers
i havent been posting many of my workouts latley but heres my latest
(all reps paused and locked out)
4 board
315x10
3 board
315x10
2 board
315x10
1 board
315x5
pause bench
315x5
I need to get up to 385x3 pause bench, then run the blast your bench program to get 405x2-4, and then run a specialized routine to try and get higher reps with 405 etc

Wow man, I remember you from the plain old Newb days. Still freaky as all hell. I think I remember reading you running blast your bench a couple years ago and it working pretty well yes?

i still respect you. besides you got a whole life time to become stronger and compete with the best in the world. you already have a strong start. you could always enter a meet even if you dont break any records it will be an inlightning experience. that way when your ready to throw down with the best of the best youll be ready for anything.

Shit, you’re getting all complicated 'n stuff
How’re brother and body holding up?
hes doin good, doing the same old shit he always has. Training heavy with bad form, dieting, and then messing up the diets with massive cheat meals.
My body is pretty mangled, leverages are horible for deadlifts cuz im fat, and my knee hurts when i squat and each workout makes it worse. Im wide stance right at parallel box squating and still get knee pain.

yeah it was worken real good at the time. I want to run it soon.
It was always good for 20-40lbs, only once did i make no gains and it was because i ran the program back to back. And once I only gained 15lbs on my bench because i did it with a close grip instead of normal bench.
its 3 weeks long and I was considering doing something like
week 1 3board presses with the light days being bench to chest
week 2 2board presses with the light days being bench to chest
week 3 1board presses with the light days being bench to chest
I did that before and got good gains from it, i almost got 50lbs from doing that infact. Made a 40lb pr and the next day couldnt quite squeeze out the other 10lbs.
Or I could do the program with chains, do it close grip, or with floor presses or bottom up bench in the power rack.
Either way i do it, how well i do when i do that program is gonna make the biggest strength difference in the next few months probably. Because if I get up to 385x2-4 and run the blast your bench program and get 40lbs out of it Il be able to rep 405x3-6 easy and considering now i lockout my reps and pause I should have a solid max even tho my reps werent near as high as they were when i bounced and didnt lockout.

now that im pausing and locking out my benches with my feet flat on the floor il be allot more likley to do a competition.
Bump indeed. Been wondering where Newb’s at. Hope he’s ok and still lifting. Always felt everybody was born to do something, and Newb was clearly born to wreck shit on the platform.
