How much you weighing now, up to 350 yet? Strong as always. Don’t listen to the other guys about getting right back into heavy squatting, no point if you might hurt yourself.
You don’t want to be a cripple before your 20. And well getting your upper body huge, you will look bigger anyways.
And also bignate, those things DO NOT help in bench press only a belt maybe and then a shirt. Briefs could add a ton of weight and he is not interested in going into gear, getting briefs, then going multi ply ext ext.
if you look at his youtube profile he recently squated 600+ on a smith machine for 2 reps and leg pressed 1500+ for reps so he is training legs
thats some sick weight…your brutaly strong…so how come you are not posting your lower body work? any hint at starting a sport yet?
havent been doing lower boy stuff, waiting for shin splits an patella tendon soreness/hip soreness to go away. I ot school tommorow and when I get my weight lifting class Il be doing allot of cleans and squats and deadlifts/rack pulls or what ever.

can suck it up for one day?
elbow sleeves are the only thing that would really help me bench more. And they dont really do shit other than keep my elbows warm and somewhat compressed.
I wear the belt to keep my shirt down and remind me to push my gut out. And I use wrist wraps on houlder press to keep my wrists strong because Im afraid of my wrist going forwards or to far backwards and mesing the lift up.

Im 330 morning weight, but Im gonna add in some creatine and up my protein and g up to 350 and hopefully get 500x5 reps on bench in the next 10-20 weeks.
but ya what u said covers how I feel about equipped lifting.
i know briefs help alot, but cant u get loose pairs that are cheap just for hip support? no one is going to call u a geared lifter for trying to take away hip pain

I could, but at 17 I shouldnt be adding gear to make up for something that shouldnt be there at all. To early in the game to do that. Next thing will be I cant do squats at all without briefs and then I cant do leg press without briefs then I will need knee wraps on al leg work etc. Rather just lose sme weight work on my mobility and find a squat form that feels good.
Not in a rush to get back to squats at the moment tho, upper body is doin good and I think allot of that has to do with how much attention I can pay to it when I dont have to worry about legs etc.

Dude, if you’ve got people to help you through a drop set, maybe you’d like doing this more than drop sets…

should have done that tonight, I had the boards for it and everything. Damn.
Anyway:
Today was the last day of the controlled overtraining bullshit, I say this because I was weak as hell today and my tricep tendons scream at me every time I work my triceps.
bench

225x5
315x4

455x0 got a lift off and just racked it, horible lift off

incline bench
135x10
225x5
315x10 PR pretty easy
smith shoulder press with a spot from my brother on every rep, just his index fingers no crazy ego stuff
135x10
225x8
315x5
405x5 I can probably do this for a few on my own when fresh
hammer curls, arms up toparalel to the floor
20x10
40x10
75x5
110x4
150’sx4 PR
side laterals with swing
20x10
40x10
75x5
100’sx5 PR
time for a few days off/upper food/protein etc blah blah
Bro, you’re strong as fuck. Please don’t take what I’m about to ask as a jab, but are you worried about your weight/bodyfat levels? I don’t know what it’s like to handle the weights you do, but are you worried about your health? These are legitimite questions, not me being an ass.
Have you ever tried foam rolling or ART? If you haven’t, I highly advise trying it out as it could potentially help you with all your lower body pains. I know personally I was developing some knee pain from squatting until I foam rolled my IT band and quads and that cleared it right up.

Not really woried about my health, all though I know Im very unhealthy.
Ijust do this because I like moving weight, health never had anything to do with it.
I have been doing allot of walking latley tho and getting real good sleep so I think my health is improving somewhat.

I used to use the foam roller all the time, then it got warped and I threw it out. If i go up by the mall Il pick another one up and try it out.
Yesterday night I did legs, just leg press tho
Small range of motion, only like 6"
in plater per side
3x10
6x5
9x5
13x5
16x5
19x3
2000lbs x 10 had my hands kn my knee’s for this, I had like 20
Im gonna start squating again, I miss my former leg mass and feeling of full body strength.
However I think it will be easier on my hips and knee’s if I use a high box. That and I want to do 800lbs so a high box is the way to go if I want that squat any time soon.
Im also gonna start rack pulls again from the knee a goal will be 1000lbs
