Medicine Ball

Hi,I training soccer and i am 16 years old.I think to buy medicine ball.I will training with her 3 days per week and i will doing 15 exercises X 10 reps. X 2 circuits.I will make exercises for legs, throwing with one arm,two arms, core exercises.I have training with my team in the morning and i will training with the medicine ball 6-7 hours latter. What do you think for this?

And i have one question. All soccer teams training with medicine ball in their physical training (3-4 weeks before season) and i think to training with medicine ball for this, becouse they training but i dont know what training she power endurance, power, explosive power?

is english not your first language? I dont really have a clue what your really asking. It would help to know what position you play as well.

Yes,excuse me for bad English.
This is my question-which variant is better?Trainings with medicine ball 3 times per week or trainings in the gym (5x5 good morning,5x5 bench press,5x5 pull ups + dumbbell and core exercises)?I want more strength and power.
And i cant do squats, deadlift and exercises for legs now, becouse next 3 months i have matches.I will training hard in the summer, now i want strength and power in upper body mainly.Which is better variant?

Combine both weight training and med-ball work together.

Check out Youtube for medicine ball workouts. There are so many good movements you can do.

you can still do lower body work in season. you would obviously have to reduce volume. however i dont know how often you practice or have matches which would obviously have to be factored in. as far as upper body performance, med ball work has its place, but definitely include max effort lifting (5x5 or something of the sort like u stated earlier) should work fine.

Depends on what position you play over which may be better, but as a generalization, i’d stick with explosive power movements in both the gym and with the medicine ball.

I have 5 soccer practice and one match per week,sunday-rest.My position is left half-back,this position need endurance, speed, explosive power, agillity and good skills with ball.I was injured for 3 weeks, and i will training only with my team for next 2-3 weeks, after this i think to add in my week program dumbbell lunges, dead lift, good morning, glute ham raise and core exercises (planks, reverse crunches, renegade row, russian twist, paloff press) 2 times per week.My treining plan with medicine ball stay for next months. What do you think?
Excuse me for bad english !
