I think everyone is being kinda silly about this whole thing though. Everyone seems to be taking this really personal…

to the kid who posted this…there is nothing remotely big about you. Your progress has been mediocre at best, largely due to your meager diet. It seems as though you have really screwed yourself as far as your reputation is concerned, you really shouldn’t have posted here.

posting your picture here is a way of asking for advice and/or critiscm, and when some guy tells you to get real and be honest with yourself regarding how weak you are, you get all emotional on everyone.

your traps arent big, you are only assuming the “tough guy” stance in your April #2 picture, which i see alot of people your age doing, i used to do it too when i was around 12…but i grew out of it… if you want big traps do alot of snatch grip deadlifts, snatch grip rack pulls and power shrugs (among other things). and eat

I’ll take the advice and shut up, the posture point really makes sense.I’ve been worried about this. my traps aren’t big, I just think is looks awkward. So story is…more food, what kind and when?

I could add a cup of plain oats to brfeakfast the biggest thing in my way is school. How did the rest of you manage to get all your food in during school?

that wasn’t a tough guy stance rotfl. that’s my standing up taking a picture of myself while trying to keep the flash from ruining the picture.I didn’t flex in the mirror pictues, haha I’m nowhere near coordinated enough t o be able to look through the viewscreen of the camera and be tensed and make sure the flash didn’t ruin the picture at once.

I don’t use a smith machine and rotfl I don’t wear girl pants. I wear plain old bootcut or vintage slim legged bootcut. Clothes to baggy piss me off. I almost had botten in a fight the other day because I had said something about this kids eyeliner and girl pants.

I wasn’t getting emotional, some guy attacked me becuase he needed an ego check on his 150% bodyweight bench press. and I got pissed.

I know I’m weak as hell there are like 3 guys in my weightroom who just by showing up remind me of that multiple times a week.

i make between 3 and 4 sandwiches for my lunch, but i usually eat them during class. They are usually tuna.

anyhoo you are not eating enough food period, i always eat a ton of food about 20 minutes before hitting the weightroom.

i eat about 8 or 9 times a day consisting of stuff like eggs tuna chicken beef pasta yogurt milk protein etc…

and some fruit to help balance things out…

just eat more kiddo and dont worry about cutting yet cause it looks like you barely have any fat.

there is no replacement for food. 30 grams of protein every hour and a half or so.

and 1.5x body weight bench is something to be admired somewhat, 9 years to achieve such a thing however is quite a drawback.

I’m sure that everyone on this site has trouble managing their meals at some point in time. I prepare my meals on the evening before and take it to work in a plastic tub and just eat throughout the day. This will equate to maybe 4/5 meals (all the same though!), at least I’m not resorting to eating “cheat” foods because I didn’t prepare.

Should I bring yogurt to school? honestly more shakes would make it a lot easier but I don’t know if I should. Once I get a paycheck I’ll bring like chicken and stuff… but my recourses are lacking right now.

alrighty I’m going to set myself a new goal. Bulk up to 175-180 over this school year. I need some help and ideas with the diet part… I know diet is my biggest setback right now.

yeah you are still barely eating anything, you need to “calorie up” for your workout, meaning eat everything that isnt nailed down, except for junkfood…

aside from that eat tons of yogurt and drink tons of milk…

Bring a jar of peanut butter to school and eat it through out the day.

I puke if I eat before squatting, I tried eating before workouts last summer. peanut butter makes me gag, I was eating like 1/2 a tub a day when I bulked the initial 30 pounds last year. I’ll add chicken+broccoli into my diet somewhere. Is brown rice eatable cold?

FFS, this thread is still up? OP: People are flaming you, but you have to understand, recently, it was at the height of fashion to do so. Your attitude seems fine (perhaps save for your hallucinations about your traps) and you seem cool about taking advice…so…Never be hungry. That’s a good indicator about how to eat. If you can sense that you’re about to be hungry then eat something. A good rule of thumb is 30-50ish grams of protein/feeding, every 2 or 3 hours. What you said about the 3.5k calories/day sounds good, now do it. At 1850 calories…well…that’s just not fair to yourself. Milk and eggs. Do it. Refined pasta. Do it. They make life easy. Life is easy. Now do it.
