Max: DL, Snatch DL, OH Press, & BP

Hello everyone,

I was wondering for people who max on these four lifts how do they compare to eachother. I did 405 Snatch dlift today which was near my max and have done a 490 convential dlift a month and a half ago. I also wondering about the comparison of other people in standing overhead strict press to bench press. I have a month and a half ago max out at 190 for the overhead press and just did 285 for my bench press the other day.

I am just curious, doesn’t have to be exact just ballpark estimate

How was your grip during the snatch DL? double overhand i assume? and did you use straps? Being double overhand no straps because of my grip i could MAYBE do 350. Im going to start incorporating these to work my grip more. Soon ill be able to pinch plates like steve reeves when i dead. My strict overhead and bench pretty much match yours. I did 185x3 overhead. 2 strict, 1 was a push press, and 265x5 bench.

That seems like a strong overhead in relation to your bench. I have no idea what my military max was, but at my strongest bench [315] I was using 175 for 4 on seated military. Maybe i’m just weak on OH pressing.

I used the same grip as my snatch, which would be pointer finger on the outside rings. I did a double at 330 then my grip gave out and then used straps after that
