Nice work math.
As for the planks, I am lucky on those. Given my build, if I get on my elbow and toes, I can just rest on my belly…my back it straight
just kidding…kind of.
Woops, looks like I’m doing some new exercise called “BB Shrubs”. “We demand a Shrubbery!”
Hel - The hooks are a Christmas present. My wife just can’t ever wait until Christmas!
Strick - I’m getting dangerously close to “Five Point Planks”.
Squat to pins (pin 12) 135/10 165/8 185/6 205/4 225/3/3/3/3/2/2/2/2 (20)
19" box squat 150/6/6/6
SLDL 185/6/6/6
1 leg calf raise 95/6/6/6
crunches 20/20/20
DL from floor 155/3 185/3 225/3 245/1/1
I’m pretty sure the 245 from the floor is a PR. Now I’m fairly sure I could total over 500 for a push/pull in April or May. Not very much even if I could make it down to the 150# weight class, but it sounds like a lot to me.
The leg wraps really seem to help my knees. Only problem is they don’t stay in place very well. I think I’ll eventually get a pair of knee sleeves. I like the looks of the Inzer style.

And that’s all that matters. And none of us making a living at this. Get out there and go for it.

LOL… Have you seen the ‘small hands’ Burger King commercials?

Nice PR, math.
I love my knee sleeves. You will love yours.

Ab roll 13/13/13
I got elected Christmas cookie baker this year. Unfortunately, they turned out pretty good. Not as good as my beer, mind you but very edible - sorta like sweet, non-alcoholic, edible beer. Damned if I didn’t have to eat a bunch of 'em to verify this. You can’t be too sure! The worst part of this is that now I know what goes into them.
That is part of the benefit of being the chef…or baker…getting to sample the goods.
Have a great Christmas, math!
My wife baked like 1000 cookies and I’ve eaten way to many.
Do you find the ab roll works the lats and tris as much as it does the abs?? I swear my lats have gotten wider since I started doing the rolls a few monthes ago. Have a great Christmas Math!
Well, tomorrows day 359 on the ordinal/julian calendar so, “Merry Christmas!”. Enjoyed following you this year. Hope you and the family have a great holiday. Enjoy the christmas spam.

Strick - I’m going to have to get serious about working off these cookies. And beer!
Eco - I don’t feel the ab roll that much in the tris and lats, but I’m sure it’s doing something. Surprisingly, I really feel pullovers in the lats and tris.
Thanks, Hel.
And everybody have a great Christmas!
Merry Christmas! I wanted to write you a nice spam Haiku, but I don’t know how. :). Hope you have a great year,
Jack
And you have a Merry Christmas too!

Hope yours went well as well. We had a good day, all in all.
Amazing what each season brings, isn’t it.

Race to Salina: 259.1 miles to go. (I’ve been getting in 2-3 miles on the bike or treadmill in here and there. Gotta kick the cardio up a few notches come 2010. I’m starting to look like a pumpkin with legs.)
Warmup:
1 leg extension 25/10 35/10
1 leg curl 25/10 35/10
pin squat (pin 12) 135/10 165/8 185/6 205/4 225/3/3/3/3/3/3/3/3 (24)

crunches 0/20/20/20
rack pulls (p3) 205/3 255/3 275/2 300/1/1 (just above knee)
I missed two whole days of lifting. I Feel like a real slacker.
Nice work, math. Squats are gettin’ heavier.

The benches were hard. This slackin’ off shit is already causing me to lose strength.
A lot of folks are having the post Christmas lull. It’ll be back before you know it.
Great work…no matter how it felt.
Math I really dont think you are losing strength. I think its more of a mental 'wake-up" thing. Holidays, maybe some extra Porter and mentally the brain isn’t ready to whip the body forward. It comes back quick either way. Thats my 2 cents. Hope your 2010 workouts are awesome!
