Masters Lifting Class: Here I Come!

The leg ext’s before your squatting…any reason for this?

Nice leg and knee warm-up, that works for me.

I am off to Las Vegas in the morning to work for Gus at the WABDL Worlds.

Vegas was fun, I announced for 6 days straight and I have barely started to get my voice back. There were some very impressive drug free lifting over the past week and I like to congratulate all the lifters on their lifting endeavors.

Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Bench Press: 145x10, 235x5, 250x3x8
Dead Lift: 145x8, 235x5, 350x3x5

Waiting on dinner, gonna feast soon.

Happy Thanksgiving.

That actually sounds like a nice idea. Perhaps I should try this, and see if it helps my squatting at all.

Here’s what BiggJames was up to, today! Helping his wife lift the turkey. We have way too many leftovers, and I only bought the 20 lb bird this year. Free range, all natural, raised at the Hutterite colony, and lovingly brined by yours truly.

Only quality protein for my baby!

Quick and easy.

DB Curls: 25x10, 30x10, 35x10, 40x10
Hammer Curls: 50x10, 60x10 70x10
Concentration Curls: 30x3x10

Brining is the only way to go.

nice training

Ur looking skinny.

I agree, you Bodybuilding these days? LOL

Nope, I am still a little north of 320. Thanks for the comments guys.

The turkey was awesome, I think the wife and I finished off the last of it tonight.

Note to self. Do not, I mean do not spend and hour and a half shoveling 18" of the fluffy white shit and expect to be effective with your training.

hehe - I hear you on the snow removal stuff. At one time I thought it could be considered a warm-up, not anymore…

Yes soldog, I am already getting tired of the fluffy white shit.

I will see how training goes and if all the factors are in line, health, money, etc. I have not competed in a full meet since 2006 where I totaled 1830 with wraps, singlet and a belt. It will be interesting to see if I can come in at 308 and lift in that weight class. I am at 316 as of the 2nd so it should not be to hard to lose the weight.

Last night:
Treadmill: 10 mins.
Squats: 145x10, 235x8, 325x6
Deads: 145x10, 235x8, 325x6
Leg Press: 300x12, 500x12, 680x12, 860x12
Reverse-Hyper Ext: 95x12, 185x12

During the next 18 weeks, the weight will be going up and I will be adding sets. I will be trying to peak at the meet and set a nice total for myself.

Nothing like a meet to get you fired up. Some master’s records may start falling.

I sure hope so, I will see how the training goes. Have a great weekend!

18" DL’s: 145x8, 235x5, 325x2, 415x1, 505x1, 600x1

Hopefully I can keep the mob entertained, with my antics and training.
