Has anyone tried just standing on some doubled up bands? It might really throw your balance off, or it might not. Could be a very easy solution.
You don’t get much tension, when standing on them, if you double them up. I had to quad them. Its a bit awkward but it gets the job done.

How do you squat with no rack?
Out of something similar to this I’d imagine;

Yeah, that is what I figured. You might able to hook the bands up underneath the squat stand, although you may have to have a bar on the squat stand with weights on it to hold the stand down.
Might be easier just to hook up the bands around 2 very heavy dumbbells, they should fit under the bar and it should not compromise the stance too much unless the person is doing sumo style.

It’s like a cage, except it has pullup bars up top, a bench coming out the other side, and a wood platform on the side you squat out of. Plus adjustable safeties that jut out into the platform. They have legs on the safieties so they don’t go very low. Which is why I have to use blocks instead of pin pulls and presses.

Any way to get the bands under the cage/platform?

nope. you don’t actually squat in the “cage” that’s where you can do chinups or spot a bench presser. You squat out the back.

I’ve tried it, but it messes with my balance too much.
BTW, Zep, I compete raw and equipped. I haven’t tested my raw DL in several months.
