Make Your Dream Band

Thanks for the information and the video. I’m thinking that metal may not be his style, but he’s so good that he’s going to fucking rock in any setting. He’s the reason I started playing bass, though I realise I’ll never be that good.
Thing that amazes me about Les is that he started bass when he was relatively old…18 or something like that. “Suck on This” was released when he was in his early 20’s. He got really good, really fast!

That’s Carter Beauford, who happens to be a good friend of Victor Wooten; a sick combination.

Fuck, I’d pay big money to see that that shit live
They made a DVD together, according to Google it was called “Making Music With Carter Beauford and Victor Wooten.”

I remember seeing Victor live… just absolutely sick, like ebola sick. I think the Flecktones might be my dream band all on their own (with Howard Levy).

Drums-Tim Yeung(All That Remains, Hate Eternal, Nile, Vital Remains, Divine Heresy, World Under Blood)

you would pick Yeung over derek roddy? O.o

It’d have to be either Kollias or Roddy. Yeung is solid, Laureano is fast but not accurate live (YouTube him playing Black Seeds of Vengeance, it’s terrible), and Hammoura isn’t up to playing the new material.

Armin van Buuren,Sander van Doorn and Showtek composing shit together would probably make me cum in my pants.

I like his body of work but I can see your point. I think the drummer is the most difficult member to pick. My secomd choice would have been Thomas Haake(Meshuggah ). Also considered Mike Mangini( Annihilator, Extreme, Steve Vai), Andols Herrick (Chimaira),Dave McClain (Machine Head, Sacred Reich), Nick Agusto(Trivium), Johan Koleberg(Therion).
Don’t forget I’ve also got Shagrath.
Actually, time for an edit. Yeung out, Haake in. You know how metal bands change members.
