MAG-10 Two-Week Results

Keith, it is seeming that 2 doses per day
sometimes gives better results than one
dose per day, much as I’d hoped that
that amount would always be overkill. Still, most do
excellently on one dose per day so that
should be the expectation and is the
recommendation.

I feel bad making excuses for the cost
of 2 doses per day for those that may
do substantially better on that, but,
it really is no more and can be less
than a comparably effective pharmaceutical
steroid cycle. (Please account for cost
of antiestrogens or finasteride, if
required, in figuring cost.)

Still, I’d rather that no one would need
to spend that. But for fastest results,
a minority do seem to need it.

TEK, yes, the half-life is probably more
like a couple of days. The BTS article
that estimated a range of only 12-36 hours
was being highly conservative in not overclaiming duration of action.

Just thought you guys might be interested in a little something I stumbled upon during my first workout since going off of Mag-10. I’m not sure if you remember, but one of my only disappointments was that my strength changed very little during the cycle. Bill attributed it to the increased volume of two-a-days. Sure enough, the return to once daily training, combined with the added rest, really yielded some results after the fact. I trained quads this morning, and the results really surprised me. I had gained 1.25" on them during the cycle, but I didn’t expect this: I took my personal 6 rep best in the front squat, and it was so light that I cranked out 10 and had to call it a warmup! When all was said and done, I had added an additional 30 lbs. to the bar and completed 8 reps. Also, on leg extensions, I used the weight that had been the first five of the triple strip set in Stage 2 and did it for two sets of twelve and eleven super slow reps. It definitely felt good to stick in some cardio at the end, too. I guess this was the most surprising because I have dropped my carbs from 43% during the on phase, to about 35% now (more typical of my regular diet). All told, I’m consuming about 1,100 fewer calories, so I thought that I’d be weaker. I gained more fat than I would have liked, so I’m taking a wait and see attitude in regards to when I start my next cycle. If I get down to 9% (currently 11.1%) by the end of two weeks, I’ll start up again. If not, I might get some Androsol in lieu of Mag-10 for a two-week cycle of lower carbs with MD6 and cardio to really lean out before going on again. Any thoughts on these strength gains and/or plans? Just curious if anyone else had reported such a rebound effect. Thanks for all your help and for offering a damn good product.

Eric, glad to hear that post-cycle you
got the strength increases you’d been
hoping for during the cycle!

There have been quite a few reports, and
also experiences among T-mag staffers, of
surprising improvements right after the
cycle. It’s unexpected to me (but a pleasant
surprise to be sure.)

I finished my 2nd two weeks of Mag-10 after 10 days off. I did the Tribex and M during those days. My weight went up 4 pounds the 1st time and almost nothing the 2nd time. The weird thing is, my strength is through the roof! I still weigh the the same, but I keep getting stronger. I am 5'9", 178. I now can bench 320 for one rep. I hit 10 reps at 250lbs, which is also an all-time best. I have never been stronger, but I have weighed more (183). I am usually around 9-10% and that only changes when I do cardio (and strict diet) for a show. Why all the strength gains and hardly any weight change?

posted my results a while back but here is an update. I jumped from a low point of 193.5 lbs. to 206 lbs. in 2 weeks. By 1 week I was already 203 lbs. I didn’t train or eat as much as I planned to. The week after I dropped 3 lbs. I suspect this was because I went back to maintenance eating. Well, I just weighed myself again and I’m back up to 205 lbs. so I’ve netted about 12 lbs. from my cycle. I think I’m about 12-13% bodyfat so my next few I think I’m going to cut instead of bulk.

Anybody out there dieting with MAG-10 yet? I read a few people stayed at maintenance cals and gained muscle while leaning up a little. Anyone else?
