What is the androgenic contrast of Mag-10’s components to testosterone? I have read the 4-AD is 95% as anabolic and the A1 is two to three times as much, but what of the androgenic quality?

First, to your specific question precisely.
The values obtained for “androgenic index” are a measure of effect on increasing prostate growth in the rat, compared to usually testosterone or testosterone propionate.
The values are not predictors of for example tendency to promote male pattern baldness, or acne, or CNS effect, or “muscle hardness,” or virilizing effects on women, or any other things people may think of as “androgenic.”
That said, both compounds within measurement
error are equipotent to testosterone in their
androgenic index. 4-AD has a value of something like 130% (with multiple reports,
typically values will differ from each other
by more than 30% so it cannot be said reliably whether 4-AD is more or less than teststerone, but reliably said that it is similar), and androst-1-ene has several
reported values, of 100%, 120%, and 30%
to name three that come to mind, but there
are more.
My body is composed entirely of rat prostate tissue.
You learn something new everyday, thanks a lot Bill. Hope you don’t mind the Limbaugh-inspired title.
