It is hard putting in few words, but easy to describe.
Basically, when I hang from my arms (as if I were hanging from Olympic Rings, in that form), my low back feels like it needs to be pulled. It feels like it gets relieved of tension when I hang from my arms, and is accompanied by discomfort when I add resistance to pull myself down. I still feel the release of tension, but there is an conscious unwillingness not go further. Almost as if the “pop” will be necessary, but feel just the same as if I were at the chiropractor. (Meaning: hurt like hell and give intense pleasure at the same time.)
Is this the reasoning behind inversion therapy?
