Yeah well, common sense is a bit of a misnomer, no? Just doesn’t seem very common at all.

eat consistent

Do you not eat fucking BURGERS?! Three Triple Whoppers daily will solve this problem.

Don’t even fucking say you don’t want to gain any fat. I will level my laptop if you do.

What?

Serious question, how do people like this live alone?
What ya mean, X? My post was directed to the OP as a bit of a joke.

I also hate it when people want to get to big and we tell them to eat more, and then they say they don’t want to gain fat. Hence the comment “don’t…say you don’t want to gain fat”.

I’m sorry that this is going to sound outright assholish, but I’m starting to believe the only people with any chance of not clusterfucking bodybuilding are those with a scientific/medical background (I.E an analytical brain) or those who literally know nothing about calories or what is a lactose, and just fucking eat and lift because they were born that way.

I agree, this really isn’t rocket science. But for some reason everyone just loses their damn head about this shit. If you are losing weight, eat more!

No wonder; I was thinking the Bodybuilding section had actually made you finally lose it.

track your intake at fitday.com
i have found i take in 4,000 cals/day +/- 10%.
you have to WORK at eating, as hard as in the gym.
I eat every 3 hours from the 2am protein/milk/olive oil shake when I get up to pee, to milk before bed. my next step is getting a small fridge at work for milk. money, dedication, and effort.

You work at a hospital. Just walk around with an IV in constantly, plenty of kcals there.

Also, squats and milk.

Do people really need a thread to tell them this? When they notice they aren’t gaining any weight, why wouldn’t this be the FIRST thing they think of?

WTF?
Because obviously the first thing they think of is that they are hard gainers. And that someone on the internet is going to tell them that they’ll never gain weight and should just go for hawt abz.

eat alot of butter and candy. it worked well for me.

looks like you got your “tips”. now use them.

Dang I’m late to this party.

I was going to say eat more…burgers, steaks, nuts, EVOO (for extra cals), etc.

BUt it looks like it’s already been said.

Well now that that’s done, we can wait a few days for somebody else to ask the same question.

Give the world some credit, it’ll probably be a week, at least.

I am currently losing weight, which is not my objective. I eat between 3-5,000 kcal a day. I get lots of protein, over 200 grams daily. I am even getting stronger. However I would like to pack on the muscle, or even stop losing weight. I am down to 170, this time last year I was 185. Part of my problem is at work I walk 10-14 miles a day.

I was thinking, lower volume higher intensity workouts. Restricting myself to 2 workouts a week and using splits. I have considered drinking several Ozs of olive oil after breakfast about 600 kcals worth.

Any advice to push things it the gaining direction and not the losing direction. If your advice is to eat more, tell me what I should be eating.
I see a few people made some suggestions, most of you just acted like assholes. I’m clearly not fucking everything up I am getting stronger and my body comp is changing to “hawt abs” but I know there is going to be a point where I completely stall out and I know its going to be within the next couple weeks.

I’m going to start drinking 5oz EVOO every day.

Eat more: Will try.
Eat dirtier: all ready was, I guess it can get worse…
Eat consistently: Will do.
Lifting Volume: ???
Rep schemes: ???

just for you Short Hoss.
I don’t eat more cuz I don’t want to get fat

If you’re bulking you’re gonna have to put on some fat.
