Losing Upper Body Fat but Not Belly Fat

As a result of TRT, working out (both cardio and lifting) and being careful about what I eat, my body has started to transform. My shoulders, traps, biceps and legs are getting bigger.
One thing I’ve noticed is that the fat on my upper body is thinning: my ribs now stick out and my manboobs are disappearing but my belly fat has not decreased. It may have even increased.

How can this be?

Hmmm. That’s the hardest to lose and the last to be lost.

As men age we tend to accumulate more visceral body fat and comparative less subcutaneous fat.

But maybe u have put on muscle around your waist.

No, it’s soft.

I think it’s because I don’t give my abs much workout.

Ab work will only give you nice muscles under the fat. If the stomach is the first place you gain it’s the last place you lose. keep dieting.
