I actually need to start over. This time be more precise and judgemental. I was very haphazard in going into this. More the idea, well if I lose any weight at all it’s better then where I am at now. At the weight I am now I think what I was doing has run its course.
I am recenlty diagnosed with A.D.H.D and Bi-polar 2. So I am dealing with some issues head on right now, and the low calories I was taking was sending me into really bad panic attacks. So I know my diet needs a thourogh overhaul. This is all I can post for as of time now. Will post agian. soon.
I didn’t see a whole ton of protein in your diet, how much are you averaging per day? If it’s any less than 1.5g/pound of lean body mass, which is probably is, then I’d recommend an increase.
Ok, Ive always gone by eating meat portions the size of your palm…wether it be Lean groud beef, or skinless chicken breast and a can of tuna. I’m having a problem focusing right now and even keeping enough attention to read much of the articles that are located here on the site. So sorry if I sound very flighty. Like I said, I just got diagnosed with A.D.H.D and Bi-polar too, so I’m a little wigged out. If someone could simply state what a decent meal would be for me to have that consists of proper amount of fats, protein and carbs. I would greatly appreciate it. That way I can kind of go from there.
I did once post an average daily meal sequence for all 5-6 meals earlier in on eof my posts. And haven’t really heard to much feedback on that. Where to increase what and so forth. I know essential fats I’m really lacking in. I will do my best to get some fish oils. Hopefully that will help me out. I think I can have the work out and cardio under check but its my diet that I need to really fine tune. I want to be alot leaner come summer and know that the wonderfull people on T-Nation are the ones that can help me get it done. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Have you done any research on how diet and nutrition can affect ADHD and bipolar ? Your diet may be affecting the way you think and feel alot. You may want to consider that, before just following advice that isn’t geared towards your particular situation.
I don’t know personally, it’s just something to think about. If I recall, it seemed your calorie intake was quite low, and that can mess your mind as well as your body. So, if that’s the case, you may feel better if you take in more calories.
