Looking for First Pair of Wrist Wraps

ok here’s the deal. I wanna compete next year and i’m looking for my first pair of wrist wraps. i’m not sure which pair/brand is good for a beginner and im also confused on what length to get. anybody have any suggestions?

Titan Titaniums are awesome. 20" is just about perfect for a training wrap.

I’ve got those, in 20 as well. The 12s I have just feel too short. I’ve never used the 36s.

It depends what you want to use them for. If you want them for power cleans and front squats, I think the Titan Red Devil are good (and comfortable). Not the best for bench maybe. I’m very happy with my 24" Titan THP for pressing, but conversely wouldn’t use them for cleans. I’ve tried the Titan Titanium, but like the tightness of the THP. No point in getting anything in 12" - can’t imagine that giving any coverage.

Im just looking to use wraps for bench and military press. I’m stuck between inzer iron wrist z’s and apt black mambas. now i know what length to get for training.

I tried the Inzer wrist wraps, and found them wanting. One of them became much more stretchy than the other one after about 3 weeks use. I have since switched to the EFS super heavy wrist wrap. It works well, but as the description says, its a rather tight/snug fit and will probably take some getting used to, depending on how tight you prefer to wrap things.

I use 12’s for raw, 24’s for shirted. I’ve found brand doesn’t matter overly much. Just takes getting used to whatever you got.

I noticed that one of mine started slipping after about 18 months of use. It’s pretty much worthless for competition now.

I was considering getting 24" APT black mambas, or some 24" APT strangulators… im confused on what the difference is. i want the tighter ones though
