Looking for Cheap Olympic Shoes

I want to invest in some good squat shoes, but I really don’t want to spend 100’s of dollars on a good pair. I guess I don’t need olympic shoes, just some good squat shoes. I squat about shoulder with apart (basically, im trying to squat like Mark Rippitoe suggests in Starting Strength). Can anyone recommend some good squat shoes, where I can get them, how much they will cost, and how they run in sizes? (like compared to nikes, is there 12 a nike 13?)

Also, with squat shoes, could I still perform PC in them?

i cant remember exactly where i saw the articles, but there were several stating something about how the shock absorbers in more expensive shoes can actually be BAD for your knees and ankles. not sure how true that is. but im sure you youll get varying opinions on the matter.
