Hello… I posted this same sorta thing up here a few years ago about this, and just read through some other posts as well as read some other stuff on the Internet. I know you can beleive everything you read from google right…
Anyway… The last 3-4 years I go for my yearly physical with blood work. My liver, enzymes are always a bit high, more specific the ALT. The range is 0-47 from the last lab I had, my # is 56. All my other test are perfect, except this is a bit high… I wasn’t worried about it, until this just bit me in the ass cause this last test was for life insurance and my rate was ridiculously high because of this level, at least according to my agent.
I did lift the day before the test, Friday, had the blood drawn Saturday morning, however last year when I had my blood drawn I didn’t lift for about a week, that made no difference… I consistantly take creatine, but have been off that now for a week or two, only cause I ran out, but do cycle this on and off, not sure if I was taking it last year or the year before at the time of the test.
So I talked to my doc about my lifting and my eating, and generally I eat healthy, do protien shakes, etc. I’m known to have a beer or 2 on the weekends, but not excessive, but now on Tuesday he is sending me for a catscan of my abdomen and some more blood work.
Is there anything I can do between now and then to perhaps help these results? The last time I lifted was Wednesday, was planning on going today, but maybe I won’t. I seen some post about this, but anyone have anything to add or has this happened to anyone else recently?
Thanks for any input or advice on this, greatly appreciated…
