Enlarged Liver, Blood Test

Wasnt sure on which forum to post this but knew people here would be able to answer my question.

I just got over acute bronchitis, but during the chest xrays my doctor said that i have an enlarged liver. He decided to draw blood and send it to the lab to get my liver enzymes and levels tested. He recommended that i get my liver ultrasound which i did, thankfully i had no signs of any cancer.

When the doctor gives me a call to tell me the results of the blood test on my liver, What questions should i ask him, or what ranges on the tests should i look for for a healthy liver.

I have used AAS, But am stronger now and feel better then ever.I feel great, very rarely am sick, and dont have cancer. The Doctor said it could just possibly be because im 6’7 that my liver is bigger then a regular person.

I told him that i used a testosterone booster, and i drink creatine and protein shakes on the daily. He didnt seem to stirred by that just kind of gave me a doctor “look”. He didnt think my liver was massive or he would have sent me to the emergency room. He did say that it is clearly bigger then an average size person so to be carefull he got me a ultrasound. Since the ultrasound came back clear im now just waiting on the blood results.

What kind of measurements should i look at when he talks to me about the blood test, will he be able to tell if i did aas? its been about 6 months since i finished my cycle.

I second BBB, don’t say a damn thing about AAS. I personally would make up some BS about longterm (legitimate) use of painkillers or similar rather than admit to oral AAS use, it will make no difference to his diagnosis.

Having AAS use on your medical history will almost certainly fuck you up later on re: insurance and god knows what else.

I don’t see any test results for liver enzymes here.
Did you get them done, (ALT/AST)?

This pisses me off so much, I thought i finally wrote the right stuff down. thats all the information they gave me over the phone but I will drive over to the clinic today to pick up a hard copy. It was a liver function test so the ALT/AST values should be on the sheet, i cant believe they wouldnt have told me those two things since clearly there important numbers on any LFT.
