@littlesleeper

My dad had those exact same symptoms for years. He finally decided to make the plunge, and he said that he started getting better rest than he had in years. He got used to the mask pretty quickly, and I’m sure you will too.

If you can increase the quality of each sleep without increasing the time you have to sleep, that’s a pretty awesome deal. Good luck! :+1:t2:

Do you have a plan, mass sleeping or strenght sleeping :slight_smile:

RANT: Ok, I am all for girls being proud of themselves and looking and feeling good, but today at the gym was like a bloody fashion show. Crop tops, hair and make-up did. It drives me a bit crazy. Honestly, I go in loose fitting pants and a tank top, no make-up…I have a hard time taking some girls seriously when they are fully done up to work out. That goes for guys lifting in jeans, khakis or wife beaters that display their nipples too. Ok, rant done.

Bacon and Tomato Mac and Cheese with smoked cheddar and nutmeg!

Awesome, thanks for sharing! I’m optimistic about it.

Heck yeah. I’m all about efficiency! Work (sleep) smarter (better), not harder (longer).

EDIT:

Sorry for spamming your thread! But yes, as much fun as it is to read weight/reps/sets I don’t think most people mind the banter between workout posts.

Yes please.

@littlesleeper - I don’t see it as spam. I really enjoy the conversations in my log.

The workouts is what we like to do, I don’t have many friends I can share my passion with.
This forum is the community where we all share the same passion. We follow a lot of the same logs, we comment a workout, and then the interaction appears.
I like coming to the computer and see that one of the logs got 7 or more new posts, I know there’s something going on, and want to know what it is. It’s great.

It’s a lot of fun, but I spend a lot more time on here then I ever intended, lol

That’s the reason I joined Tnation.

Also this

I just planned on keeping a log and nothing much else but I end up on here almost daily lol

WTF?

So, foot pain woke me up from sleep this morning. I didn’t do anything to it last night, and the pain started while I was sleeping. I am getting a throbbing pain on the instep of my left foot. It’s difficult to walk. I haven’t had this pain before, and can’t think what I did to cause it. I am going to try to roll it out this morning, but I might have to switch my squat day to bench day today because I can’t put too much pressure on my foot right now.
Dammit!
What is worse is I have a 12 hour shift tomorrow, and that will be difficult if I can’t relieve the pain.
I hate getting old.

Hey LL not liking that post. Hope it just something that comes and then suddenly disappears again…
Sounds really weird

I hope you are right. I have tried rolling it out, soaking in a hot bath and rubbing it out, both to no avail. I have decided to rest today, even walking around the gym seems like It might aggrevate it more. Gonna take some aleve and see if that helps.
Feel frustrated, was really hoping to put the big plates on my squat today, and if I didnt work tomorrow I probably would…but I gotta try to rest it so I can walk on it tomorrow.

Edit: the weirdest thing is I have a bunion on my right foot that affects mobility, but never had issues with the left…icing it now.

Well, that sucks. Sorry to hear about the bad luck. Maybe your body decided today was rest day…

Oh jeez.

I feel like Beavis now.

@Frank_C - and rest I did.

@The_Myth - sigh

Took a muscle relaxer for my foot- 3.5 hour nap.

Verdict: foot still sore, not as bad.

And so I am not completely idle: my new project. I love knitting!

Hope your foot gets better soon! Nice knitting! Beautiful color too! There is a thread down in the Off Topic section called things you’ve made, where it’s fun to show off your handy work!
