Lifting With Mono

Hey everyone. I’m just getting over an awful case of mono. I was bulking before I got it, but I’ve went from 180 pounds to about 165 pounds in the last month and I’m just starting to get my appetitie back.

I’m wondering if anyone has some advice on when to start lifting again? I’m starting to feel pretty good now and I definetley want to put the weight back on.

On the other hand, I’d hate to do something like rupture my spleen because I hit the gym too early. Anyone with some advice?

Oops, I clicked on this thinking it was about using a monolift.

I would recommend starting slow and listening to your body. If you feel sick during or after a workout then ease up a little. As you build strength push yourself a little harder. Obviously eat a solid diet and get plenty of sleep and fluids. Just my thoughts.

you know your body better than we do.
worst thing you could do is lift while you are sick though, that puts more than enough strain on your CNS, and you could end up getting worse, again
