But the floor IS uneven…that bar is always rolling like its on a slight slope!

Maybe there is a gravity anomaly like in my basement. Makes everything heavier.

Thanks Up, I am getting a little anxious, want to get the show on the road…
Trained alone for the first time in a long while…I love training solo…
Snatch Grip DL - worked up slowly to 315x4x3
Hang Cleans - Worked up to an ugly 205x3
Clean and Press - 135x2x5
Klokov Press - Bar x 2 x 15 95x10 135x5
Face Pulls - 95x3x10
Db floor press - 70x3x12
Hey, the first two were good and that’s a nice sit down. The 3 will go next time and for now it’s good you have no resulting injury.
What good was that spot. All you needed was a little spot to get you off the bottom. Man you could have been injuried.

I was thinking exactly the same thing. Nice work on the first two Matty and I’m with the Dude in that I would be getting a different spotter next time.
Matty,
That was an awful spot, you looked like the strength was there but you just seemed to tip forward a bit on the way up (like you lost the tightness in your back?) it happens to everyone at some point, what doesn’t happen to everyone is having a spotter watch 400+ lbs roll over your neck and head. Glad you’re okay.
Those squats were nice and deep and not to mention heavy. Nice work. Personally, I’ve given up on spotters and just plan on dumping into the pins when I miss.

Thanks GV, I did walk away unscathed, possibly should have had the pins up one notch higher and because of that wouldn’t need the “spot”

Ironic thing is he offered to spot me, and then when I asked him what happened he said he isnt a good spotter.

Thanks Brian, I think mentally I quit after the second one, and lost all my form. The spotter volunteered to spot me and then after the mishap said he wasnt a good spotter…WTF
