Oh no, that’s not what you wanted to hear at all. All it does it take one incident to happen in a hospital (well depending on who it happens to), even when there is a weak correlation, for them to ban it from their policy.
Hope you have a happy new year the best you can.[/quote]
yeah I guess I understand…but its always something
Happy new year tech!

Yeah man once I heard about them from you I do them often and love em!
I like the hang cleans, or if feeling ok hang clean and presses because it doesent irritate my existing injury as its more of a push press. I do like the explosive nature of them and when in a groove its fun
Matty,
That’s shitty news about the surgery and your meds, I would imagine that they will figure out a way around it. I hope it all works out for you, the waiting is the worst part.
As far as location I am now in upstate New York though I was born in Queens and went to college down in the city before joining the Army, I will be competing in the 100% RAW organization on March 29 in Manlius NY and then hopefully down in Long Island over the summer.

Thanks Bri…
It looks like I will be getting an IV sedated MRI with contrast in lieu of the Myleogram which I am happy about.
I am a Queens guy myself!
Thought it was going to be a tough day, but it went swimmingly
Squat - 315x3 325x3 375x3 415x3 (wraps)
Pause Squat against light bands - 315x2x3
Squats against Avg Bands - 135x15
Weighted Chins - using 25s and 45s 50 total reps.
DB Floor Press - 70x4x12
Lever Rows - 1plt x 20 2plt x 20 3plt x10 +25 x5
Band pushdowns and pullovers
Been doing the advance periodization 5x5 for the past 8 weeks, week 9 final week next week. I only used the 5x5 with squats and pendlays, and I gotta say it went well, and its a good fall back program to do in the “off season.” the ending coincides with the upcoming surgery.
nice work
and happy new year.
I am liking those clean and press- nice squats too
That’s a nice group of squatting and the chins are looking brutally good.
Solid work , good to hear about the MRI. Hope it all gets sorted out soon. Happy New Year Matty, heres to goals achieved in the new year.

Meadows 6 way - 10x10 15x10 20x5

Thanks Kev but it in all honesty my injury has not only wrecked my bench but my pull has really suffered the difference in strength in each arm is causing the bar to drift and come up unevenly. I can’t wait to get this surgery over with
Maybe the floor is just uneven, that’s my excuse and I’m only lifting teeny mousey weight.
