I did a bastardized version of CTs 6 week to superhero Complex…5 rounds of the below
Rack Pull 405x3 DL against Minis 315x3-5 Hang Clean - 135x8 DB Swings 45x8 (single hand)
Didnt go crazy with the rack pull weight or DL, but it was still tough.
Slight Incline DB Press - 70x3x10-12 (all I could muster, fuck you herniations) SS Svend Press 2 dimes x 3 x 10

That superhero complex looks like a killer. And, can you make me a t-shirt like the one above too.

Im doing somewhat better…I have my inversion table, which TBH really doesent do anything for my cervical issues, however it feels good on my lumbar issues. The Tens unit gives pain relief. I also am driving my van instead of my smaller commuting corolla, this makes a difference. Driving was awfully painfull, but since taking the van to work and having more room I am not in a lot of discomfort. I am avoiding the movements that seems to aggravate the injury (Incline Presses, OH Press, heavy pressing etc) and sticking with light movements for upper body except for rowing. So the pain over the past few days has dissipated greatly, the strength is still very poor.
Injuries suck balls. It looks likes strong work in here despite the added injury hurdles.
Thanks Jack…I think however a decision is going have to be made within the next few weeks whether surgery is the answer or not…
Today
Light Bench - some x some
DL - 425x3x2 315x10
Lever Row - up to 3plt +25 x 10 DS 3pltx10
Cable Flys - 5x15
Bro Curls
Hate this shit

That sucks and that’s always a tough call. But if it has to get done it has to get done. Just make sure you have 100% confidence in your doctors because the difference between a good and even a not-quite-as-good one makes all the difference.
Yeah no doubt, I have found that my insurance (GHI) is not as popular as it once was…it seems as if every doc that came recommended to me did not take GHI any longer it seems as if it doesent pay out as well as other insurance carriers. But I finally found one that is affiliated with the hospital for joint disease at NYU hospital…and not Doctor Dipshit who is affiliated with Schlotskies school of medicine lol
Hope you get the best treatment and the right treatment. Injuries should be outlawed and banished.
Good luck! I don’t know whether it is better to dodge surgery or get it over with as it usually seems that it comes sooner or later once they start thinking about it and it is easier to recover now than at 70…
Thanks a ton guys, in my mind it seems inevitable, I am always thinking ahead and am concerned about recovery and the mental aspect of not being able to do what I love. Hopefully I am getting ahead of myself.
