Arnold does absolutely nothing for me.

Not as a bodybuilder, nor as a man or even as a human being.

He comes across to me as a human machine, I see no value in him whatsoever.

everyone is entitled to their opinion…but don’t you think thats a little harsh?

keep in mind that without Arnold…kevin levrone most likely would not exist as we know him…bodybuilding probably would have remained an obscure sideshow and never reached any type of mainstream popularity…the rugged action star would not have come to prominence, ever…etc etc …need i go on?

I will say Levrone had amazing triceps, as well as deltoid development when he competed. Never could quite bring up his wheels to match his upper body though.
Arnold couldn’t either.

Of course it’s harsh.

I never claimed to be soft - the top bodybuilder at my gym actually said to me: “Do you always have to train so hardcore? Are you ever gentle?..I can’t see you being gentle”

He had a point, and he was half right because I went home crying…!! : p

You don’t need to go on.

It is true what you said about Arnold and you are right again.
I didn’t see that point before. I can see how his “attitudional” style elevated bodybuilding to a more prominent style - which is how I perceive his personality: It’s more about being prominant than being dominant.

So I take back what I said and I acknowledge his contribution as you made me see it.

But to me he still remains the image of a man who is the style of a bodybuilder over the substance of a real one.

Arnold is The Achiever not The Naturally Accomplished.

Which is very good, just doesn’t rock the boat for me.

Blasphemy I say, Blasphemy.
I understand. I understand.

I will give you an e-hug (((((*)))))

How come they pronounce his last name as “Levrony”? Sounds gay.
That’s how he pronounces it too, I believe he is half Italian. In an American accent it would come out LEV-RON, but not in Italian.

Levron? What about the E at the end? Try Lev-RONE. That’s how I’ve been pronouncing it forever and that’s how I’ll continue to pronounce it. “Levrone” - pronounced the way it is spelled - sounds tough, masculine and dominant. It’s a perfect name for a half black/half Italian bodybuilder. “Levrony” sounds fucking gay. There’s no getting around it.

This is a no brainer. The movie looks like it will suck, and Levrone will suck in that movie. I wonder why people care about this clown?

You should however pronounce the last E. Just like in corleone. In italian it sounds like levron-eh non-italian americans make it levrony, wich sounds gay indeed.
just the same as in the godfather movies. Italians pronounce it as corleon-eh, non italian americans as corleony…

Too bad vin diesel already used th smoking line in triple x…

the thing about schwarzenegger is that anyway you cut it, he was extremely lucky and he associated himself with the right people.

james cameron etc

he made his career by being lucky enough to be cast in classics like the terminator and conan

I’m not sure hollywood has any more movies like that coming out, everything seems to be based on comic books/videogames/ old tv shows nowadays and they want pretty boys with small physiques

Yeah, he seems to have but he definitely doesn’t look small.

I just can’t believe how formulaic that movie looks, I mean we have all seen that sterotypical football movie where disenchanted youths learn the hard lessons of life on the grid iron and have life changing growths, and of course at the end of all those movies one of the kids closest to the Coach has to die or get badly hurt, usually the most misunderstood and rebelious one.

I hope The Rock can get a great script that in actually innovative, I have yet to see his Terminator or his Conan or for that matter his True Lies.
